Weaving has taught me to slow down. In a fast-paced world, I feel like I am always onto the next thing or the next idea. We are planning out some home rennovations and I told Noah this morning that I didn’t really want to do anything that was hard or takes a lot of time (lol yet I think I am Joanna Gaines) I get so caught up in instant gratification, and weaving takes me back to slowing down, enjoying the process, and remembering that good things take time. It has taught me to nurture patience and how to wait in the midst of a world filled with instant gratification and busyness.
Who knew a loom and some yarn could teach you life lessons? 🤷🏻♀️
