We all have an endocannabinoid system, any vertebrae above an insect has an endocannabinoid system, unless our cannabinoid receptors are getting nourished with cannabinadiols then we are off balance in one way or another and our cellular communication pathways are hindered.
Many medical doctors have been coming forward and expressing their disappointment for going through medical school and never being taught one thing about our endocannabinoid system, it’s not even mentioned! As if it doesn’t exist! Now that CBD is beginning to surface and is being researched we have a huge integral piece of puzzle getting put into place as to why our system has been off balance for so long! This is an amazing and much needed breakthrough on the health and wellness issue(s) that we have in front of us. Young and old we all need this amazing oil (including our pets), Our endocannabinoid system is our master system, especially when it comes to finding balance and a state of homeostasis, and when we reach that state then that’s when we can truly heal on a cellular level. I read an interview with one brand founder yesterday, someone I respect and align with in philosophy, and this person, while describing their brand's attention to sourcing top quality of every single ingredient no matter what the price, exactly expressed how we source each ingredient-and we never met or spoke. ☀️ I wrote about this many times here on Instagram, quality and freshness in the world of botanicals, essential oils, absolutes, herbal extracts, carrier oils vary tremendously, you ran into many difficulties to just replenish an ingredient: your regular trusted artisan might be ill, retired, or the crop might be bad a particular season due to the weather. There have been times when I received an unreturnable expensive oil supply and had to dump all of it and jump into looking for a new source because the oil was differently processed or too old for what I require. ☀️ Sourcing is important because quality and processing style can be something on a scale 1 to 100, hard to believe, right? One example: seabuckthorn berry can feel and smell like a fruity thick opaque nectar of the gods, or be a show-through red liquid with no scent and no life in it. And it takes experience and expertise to discern that in some cases a few ways of processing are solid methods, not just one. Someone tells you only the seeds of the seabuckthorn are pressed in their brand's product, and that is just the best, but then another brand boasts using the whole fruit (pulp and seeds), and yet another brand uses just the fruit pulp extract-guess what, all three can be incredible, but they have different nutrient profiles and skincare properties. Just because "whole berry" sounds a lot like "whole food", it doesn't mean it is better-in fact this type of seabuckthorn berry extract can be very comedogenic (but clever formulating techniques can counter the comedogenic tendency: mastery of formulating for many skin types comes in handy). ☀️ Let me know your questions.
