I was listening to a podcast by @richroll interviewing @des_linden & her trademark saying that eventually won her the Boston Marathon Champion title was “Keep showing up”. Day in & day out, maybe it means to scale back your expectations of your day, of your goal, but still show up & power through. The part of the podcast that really motivated me through my workout today was that Des had said that when she’s there on race day, she thinks to herself that this is an opportunity to change her life which was then looked at the broad spectrum that EVERYTHING every day, is an opportunity to change your life. Every action you take is a decision made and attributes layers upon layers to the life that you live. You are a result of your decisions. So keep showing up. Hard work is always rewarded 🏆

On a sciencey note: if you’re trying to build your muscle then you don’t want to go any longer than 72 hours (3 days) in between a muscle group without simply “maintaining”. Meaning if you’re trying to build your booty, for example, then you want to get in another booty building session by no longer than 3 days 🍑

Did you know?? It takes ONE WHOLE YEAR for your gut to recover from ONE round of #antibiotics on its own. Not to mention, the processed foods and sugar we put in our bodies on a daily basis that compromises our gut health. It makes a lot of sense that some people are on antibiotics over and over again... their good bacteria that gives them any kind of #immunity is gone!

If you’re not on a GOOD #probiotic, you should be. I have three favs and one is a chewable kids vitamin WITH a probiotic blend! 2️⃣BOSU heels elevated KB squat - do 1 and 1/4 reps x 10
3️⃣Quad static holds on BOSU - 1 min
*Repeat this set 4 times
