The comes a moment where everyone feels like they have hit a wall. Either because they havent yet got the result they desire or the feel like they have nothing left. But if you want the wins life has to offer you have to build yourself to keep going. To do this is a mindset, telling your mind to keep going because you believe you must. Here im ended on what i can burn reps. From the moment you start your legs will feel on fire. By keeping the reps short and not extending full your muscle is constantly at work. However by showing myself i can keep going here i take this mindset and focus into all areas of my life and my business!

So body confidence! This is something I lack and then when I look back at pictures I wonder why I wasn't more confident with the body I had. This is from two years ago and at a point in life where lots of exciting things were happening. Soon we all go to Centre Parcs and of course that means having to wear a swimsuit/bikini. Part of me is nervous to be so bare but it's all about embracing what you have. My body is a work in progress and I would like to be closer to this picture than what I am now. ✨ Why I go to the Gym ✨ • • As it’s now day 24 of the #gymshark66 challenge I wanted to have a chat with you all about my motivation and why I keep going to the gym πŸ™ˆπŸ’œ If you’ve been following me from the beginning you’ll know the ups and down both my physical and mental health has been on since I started this journey last July BUT the gym has always been a constant and here’s why... • ✨ It’s a stress relief from uni, work and drama so I can put my headphones on, block out the world and take some time for me and my body that always puts me in a positive mood and ready to face the day πŸ₯° • ✨ It makes me feel like a bad ass! Lifting heavier and seeing myself get stronger and discovering new moves gives me a buzz like nothing else and makes me feel like I can take on anything πŸ’ͺ🏽 • ✨ I know it’s keeping my body strong and improving my knee injury πŸ€• • ✨ I love the community and friends I’ve made from being in fitness and the connections that raise me up and empower me πŸ’• • • I don’t go to the gym to look good for that boy or girl or to fit into the box of what a ‘girl like me’ should look like! Life is so precious - we are only here once. Make it a bloody good one. 2. Be impulsive: You will never regret the choices you make but you will only regret not taking them. Take risks. 3. See failure as an opportunity to grow: rejections/injuries are very common in my industry. Let these moments make you stronger and give you that silver lining. 4. Be happy - don’t be too career focused that you forget to enjoy life. Find hobbies, other areas of your life to give you space for creativity. 5. Do what’s out of the norm - no success happens from comfort zones and following the rules won’t make you stand out. Be different. 6. Don’t compare yourself to others - (especially by age!) everyone’s pathways lead to success at different times of our lives. Trust your gut and be persistent in achieving your goals. 7. Friends and family - surround yourself with a supportive circle of friendship that will be there no matter what. Be there for them too. 8. Don’t care what people may think of you - this will only limit your potential in life. 9. Live consciously - be healthy and happy not just for yourself but for the planet too. 10. Don’t take life for granted - wake up with determination. Go to bed with satisfaction.

I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t really wanna post this, mostly because there’s not much change at all from last Feb compared to now. However, I’ve decided to take this example of small progress as a learning tool, to encourage myself and force myself to push harder and aim for higherπŸ™Œ . Training at home definitely allowed me to chill a lot more during my workouts, because there was no one to try to impress until I was taking photos, and I was also proud of my newbie gains. But now that’s over, and I’ve realised that I wasn’t pushing myself as much as I should’ve been up until I joined my gym in about September last year (however, I didn’t start seriously training till about November because of my HSC). I’m now pushing myself so much harder and lifting so much heavier now that there’s the pressure of other people lifting weights at the same time as meπŸ˜‚ . The concept of naming people is pretty wild. Who was the first person to be like yea there’s too many of us we gotta call each other something? Kind of a visionary if you ask me. I have way more thoughts on this subject if any one would like to discuss. Do we think it was first names only for a while and then they added last names but then that wasn’t enough and they added middle? No way that middle was second, IMO. . .

πŸ’ͺWeek 18 - cut week 3/7πŸ’ͺ I look so I'll and pasty but here's me! So the past two weeks didn't really go to plan. Because of that I've decided to extend the cut another 2-3 weeks to try and compensate. Then I'm going to switch to maintenance. I'll give myself my birthday off though. πŸ’†‍♀️ When I get to maintenance I'm going to up my training to 4 days, as I find it has such a dramatic impact on my mood - I also want to get more equipment for home workouts. I look so I'll and pasty but here's me!
