I love the odd pint of Guinness I do. 🍺
Guiness myth: Guinness is a good source of iron right? -
Not really mate.
A pint of Guinness contains 0.3 milligrams of iron. 1 cup of raw spinach contains 1.2 milligrams. That means you'd have to drink 4 pints of Guinness to get the same iron content as a portion of green veggies. Or 11 pints to get the same iron content from 100 grams of lentils.
At least you'd have a good time 🤷♂️ #ifitfitsyourmicros

It’s #wednesday but feels more like a Friday! In honor of #humpday i figured I would share a small “hump” I had to get over this week. A few years ago I ruptured my pectoral tendon. Basically i completely ripped my tendon off of the bone and my chest muscle rolled up inside of my body.. 🤮 So I have had this mental block which has sometimes gotten in the way of some serious gains. I told you all of that to say that it is all about mindset and learning from your life experiences. I never thought I would ever bench again and what do you know.. here I am making 315 look easy! Nothing can stop someone that knows where they are going and NOTHING will stop someone willing to do whatever it takes to get there!! #yellowstonenutra#teamvxs
