"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times.
But that is not for them to decide.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us." ~🌟J.R.R.Tolkien
Pumpkin season is still not over right?! I'd like to pretend it's still autumn😃
I eat healthily, I exercise often, I move daily - and I wish I could sleep well. However, sleep doesn’t come naturally to me, I often can’t fall asleep, or if I can, then I wake up around 3am and can’t go back to sleep until 6am or so. My sleeping pattern has become even worse since being pregnant, at the moment I sleep “normally” (that’s 7-8 hours with two interruptions to use the bathroom and/or drink some water) through one night, to then lie awake again the following night. It’s pretty overwhelming, and although I have been suffering from insomnia for many years, have done a therapy to try help it and follow strict rules such as no phones in the bedroom and no coffee after 4pm (the picture is misleading, I know 😉), I still can’t help being frustrated, sad and tired (literally) of it. 😔 I talk about my difficulties with sleep in the current issue of Geo Wissen, an entire magazine dedicated to sleep. 😴 In case anyone wonders - the editor came across a blog post I wrote two years ago about my sleep, and then requested an interview to discuss my case in Geo. The magazine is out now, and I have added the link to that blog post to my profile in case anyone is interested. Are there any insomniacs out there? What keeps you awake at night, and how do you make it through the looong, quiet and dark nights? 🌚 I’m curious!
