one day escaping from London🤗🤗🤗 Went to Blenheim Palace for Saturday, such a nice day with a lot of walk. It is always great to have a friend who knows the place very well and take us to have some nice food. We went to Bear 🐻 closed to the palace and they only had set menu for lunch. Because the cold weather, we all had pumpkin soup, fish and chips and a dessert. Food was great with a big portion, just can’t stop eating. That’s the guilt pleasure!
Resturant: Bear Macdonald, Woodstock
Food:8/10 bread is homemade, ingredients are fresh and the dessert is special! Strongly recommend chocolate and alimony cake!
Environment: 8.5/10 we had a huge table with a lot of space comparing to dining in the palace, it’s a good place to go and avoid crowded people
Service: 7.5/10 only few staffs working so needed to wait a while when you need anything
Price: 8.5/10 very good value for the money especially when you are hungry 😋
Overall: 8/10 I will choose to dine in Bear rather than in the Palace
WOOD OVEN ROASTED PIG FACE: sunny side egg . tamarind . cilantro . red wine-maple . potato stix @girl.and.the.goat hands down one of the best tasting dishes I have had. It’s taste like home. #poshmomeats
Walked into milky lane hungover and defeated ready to fill my stomach with a great tasting dirty burger. I ended up regrettably choosing the limp brisket burger. Now the regret wasn't from the burger itself, I just ate some of the beef burgers and wow they were unreal. The combination of brisket and coleslaw was great, just wasn't what I was looking for.
What a burger, seriously it was something else. You know the fear you get when ordering from a new burger joint, not knowing what to choose because there are too many options and you don't want to miss out on any delicious tastes. This burger has it all, brisket, bacon, double cheese, thick piece of beef and holy hell was it good.
