In almost any modern global city you visit, you will always want to check out the viewpoints to get the best sweeping views of the city. You have the countless rooftop bars to see Bangkok, the Marina Bay Sands to see Singapore, the Taipei 101 to see Taipei, the Empire State to see NY, the Eiffel Tower/Arc De Triomphe to see Paris, the Bitexco tower to see HCMC, the Christ the Redeemer Statue to see Rio, the CN Tower to see Toronto, Namsan Tower to see Seoul, the Petronas to see KL, and the Space Needle to see Seattle. (i had fun listing all of these places down hahahaha).
Heck, in many places you can even take expensive chopper rides to see it all and get the best views of all. In Manila, you won't run out of buildings to climb up and see the metropolis in all directions either.
We can come up with so many reasons why we love our skylines so much, but I personally like them because they show me that all the buildings, which look like they're all equally tall, are actually of different heights! Ahhhhh, this probinsya-turned-city boy is having much fun 😂.
