BACK killing some much needed BACK workout session!!! I’ve come a long way to get to where I am now!! My life as a dad has its ups n downs as far as the gym goes!! My boy comes first not to mention I work a lot!! So there is very little time after that for myself n for the gym!! Almost no time really... in order to PUMP on the daily I have to dig into my sleep!! I don’t just have 6-8 hours of the day to throw away!! I work 14-16hours a day, take care of my boy, meal prep bathe n feed him n put him to sleep !! There isn’t really anytime left in the day!! We all get 24hours n I use about 20 of them right off the bat with responsibilities!! Then I have to go PUMP for two hours on top of that!! So I tend to sleep just a couple of hours a night no more than 4 hours for sure! So I’m always tired n always muscled up!! It we all decide what we want to look like!! Top reasons why you might not be gaining muscle🏋🏼‍♀️🏋🏽.. ▪️not eating enough calories: last week I talked about calculating the calories you burn in a day online or through my fitness pal and subtracting to find the calories you'd need to lose fat. Well this time, take the calories you burn in a day and add 300 calories. Adjust if you feel like you're not gaining muscle or gaining too much fat. But you cannot gain muscle if you're not eating in surplus!!! ▪️not getting enough protein: this is always an issue for so many people trying to lose and gain weight!!! Make sure protein comprises at least 30% of your calories! ▪️not getting enough carbs: everyone knows protein is essential for building muscle but so are carbs! You need to eat a lot more carbs when trying to bulk, so especially don't shy away from fibre filled carbs like oatmeal, while grain bread and pasta, rice, etc. ▪️not getting enough sleep: your muscles need sleep to undergo the reparation process! ▪️not doing progressive overload: if your muscles don't tear, they won't repair. If you don't overload them with weights and reps that challenge them, they will get use to what you're doing and won't need to grow. Make sure your constantly challenging your muscles by raising the weights or changing up your routine. Remember high weights low reps for compound exercises and moderate weights with higher reps for accessory exercises! But I made the choice to roundup my husband and 1 year old, head to the gym, and get it done. I also stayed within calorie goal today- only 1000 today! Mit den Abduktoren ist man in der Lage, die Beine vom Körper zu spreizen. Das Training dieser Muskelgruppe wird oft von Männern vielfach vernachlässigt, da es die weniger auffälligen Außenseiten der Oberschenkel betrifft. Die Abduktoren setzen sich aus unterschiedlichen Muskeln zusammen und zählen zu den Skelettmuskeln. Im Alltag unterstützen diese Muskeln das Gehen, indem sie die Hüfte und das Becken stabilisieren, und die Beine abspreizen (vom Körper wegführen). Wenn man die Abduktoren regelmäßig trainiert, stärkt man die Beinmuskulatur, und wird auch Fortschritte bei Grundübungen wie Squats oder Kreuzheben machen. Erwarte jedoch nicht, dass man mit den Übungen gezielt Fett an den Außenseiten der Oberschenkel verlieren kann. Allerdings kannst man beim Beintraining mit Grundübungen viele Kalorien verbrennen! Man findet die Abduktoren an den Außenseiten der Oberschenkel. Der Gegenspieler, auch Antagonist genannt, sind die Adduktoren, die das Bein wieder heranziehen. Mit den Abduktoren ist man in der Lage, die Beine vom Körper zu spreizen. Das Training dieser Muskelgruppe wird oft von Männern vielfach vernachlässigt, da es die weniger auffälligen Außenseiten der Oberschenkel betrifft.

Die Abduktoren setzen sich aus unterschiedlichen Muskeln zusammen und zählen zu den Skelettmuskeln. Im Alltag unterstützen diese Muskeln das Gehen, indem sie die Hüfte und das Becken stabilisieren, und die Beine abspreizen (vom Körper wegführen). Wenn man die Abduktoren regelmäßig trainiert, stärkt man die Beinmuskulatur, und wird auch Fortschritte bei Grundübungen wie Squats oder Kreuzheben machen. 
Erwarte jedoch nicht, dass man mit den Übungen gezielt Fett an den Außenseiten der Oberschenkel verlieren kann. Allerdings kannst man beim Beintraining mit Grundübungen viele Kalorien verbrennen!

Man findet die Abduktoren an den Außenseiten der Oberschenkel. Der Gegenspieler, auch Antagonist genannt, sind die Adduktoren, die das Bein wieder heranziehen.

19/03/19 “Maybe if I hide the reps will go away?” God damnit this session snuck up on me... I thought I was being so patient. Then it just got harder and harder. Rep 7 was tough, Rep 8 I just snuck across and then I just hit the wall on 9. Rate 28 did not feel comfortable at all... I either wanted to slow down to R24/26 or speed up to R30. Hrmm. Not to dwell on the negatives - I was supposed to do 12 reps but I got in a solid 9 reps. Got some sweating done after an early start for work (up at 4:30). Added a 3K cool down on the BikeErg again. I think that will be a staple of my training now... the wind down is nice. Into some strength work - gotta keep both @adamwakefieldpt and @garageathlete as my task masters content with my effort. Happy days.

Pretty happy with #legday today. It may not look like much to some but for me I was happy to get out of convincing myself that I couldn’t. And what I mean is; during my last prep I always had someone beside me pushing me and spotting me. A lot of my training this time around has been on my own, so I hesitate to put on more weight. Don’t misunderstand, I do what @kdwitthemuscle provides me with and sometimes more and I never not execute the plan. I’ve just been a little afraid of failing at going heavier. But I told y’all yesterday my mindset is “I’m over it.” I’m working my way up! Lots of awesome back work here 😁 Remember though, she’s got her core engaged to stabilize her upper body so that she can isolate her movements from those strong back muscles 😈 As always, she’s thrown in some pulses to amp up the intensity💪🏻

Just wanna take a minute and say how lucky and glad i am I’ve gotten into fitness over the past years because overall it changed my life and not just from a weight perspective or by body but mostly for my mind and mood not a whole makes me happy anymore and I’m currently just kinda on auto pilot coasting but for these two hours or sometimes three that I’m in the gym i feel free from all of that daily stress and mostly like i don’t have care in the world but in reality the place is addictive to me and is why i don’t have a lot of rest days because the joy and fullness i feel from just walking through the door and being in the whole atmosphere of the gym is uplifting to me and also seeing most of the people there and i absolutely love hearing about people’s PR’s that they break or seeing people strive everyday in and out to reach there goals whether it’s losing ten pounds or completely yoked and toned (what i prefer lol) but i hope everyone finds this place to make them feel like this....hope everyone has a good start to there week

I’ve never been unhealthy but several months ago I had come to the realization I have slacked pretty hard and was far from happy with myself. I wasn’t happy with what I saw in the mirror and knew I was capable of better. Finally, decided to stop making excuses and get myself back in shape and push myself harder than ever. When I started a lot of people were wondering why I was trying to loose weight because what they saw was fine, well they aren’t me. I found the best group of motivating people in @1stphorm and their transphormation challenge. While yes they have rewards for their sprint challenges like many other companies, where they differ is that it is ongoing and it encourages people of all fitness levels to be their best in all aspects of their lives no matter their level. I’ve been extremely happy with my progress and won’t be stopping here. Don’t let anyone let you become complacent, don’t make excuses for yourself. Find what drives you and take the first step then keep grinding at it. Never settle for less than your best!!
