Shamatha 1 - Shamatha is a term I was recently introduced to from the Buddhist tradition. It is a form of meditation where one practices one-pointed focus on a single object without moving.
Some may not agree, but I do find a one-pointed focus whenever I am working on a photograph or on music. Merging with the essence of the visual image and altering it in the minutest of ways can be extremely engrossing.
There’s an element of color shifting that happened with this particular photo that I found fascinating. In trying to optimize the colors, there’s a moment where there’s a balance of colors that resonates... it’s a feeling combined with a visual confirmation. I hope you feel what I feel. Oh! And can you spot the tiny plane in the sky?!? 😉✌️✨
It doesn’t matter who hurt you, or broke you down. What matter is who made you smile again.
So love the people who treat you right, forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for reasons.
If you get a chance, take it!
If it changes your life? Let it!
Nobody said life world be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it!!!
