Hey guys! So clearly I have been MIA for a good little bit now. I have found myself in a pretty bad depression episode. I have depression and anxiety but usually the depression is manageable. I’m usually not the happiest person in the world but it’s tolerable. Lately it has just been awful. I have no energy or motivation; I go to work, I go home, I feed myself the easiest thing I can cook, and I sleep. The weekends I just sleep all day and night yet never feel rested. Just to take care of myself doing basic things has been a struggle. It has truly been crippling and just awful. I just cry randomly. I haven’t had the energy to even reach out to friends. It’s all just been very hard. This is the worst it has been in a very long time. But this week I’ve felt better. I don’t feel like I’m falling asleep at my desk at work. I’ve felt productive. And today I went back to the gym for the first time in way too long. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € -โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I had felt good all week and today so I decided to try the gym today. I did a decent 30 minutes on the bike and did some glute exercises as well. I overall feel pretty good about it. I am nervous that me feeling “better” will stop and that I’ll get worse again but I’m trying to stay positive and convince myself that everything will get better now. Thankfully, I have somehow managed to maintain the lowest weight I was at when I was working out and eating better. It fluctuates, but it mostly stays around the same weight which has helped make me feel a little better. Day 1 has concluded and day 2 begins... I’m not hungry at all but cravings come and go. It’s weird because I literally just want to chew something. Es muy común que mis clientes me hagan estas preguntas o que la gente tenga estas dudas: • Por que estoy estancada? ๐Ÿค” • Por que mi esposo esta perdiendo más peso que yo? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ • Si hago pesas, me voy a poner muy gruesa? ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜ณ . Aquí les van las respuestas en una: Si estás “estancada” o sea que ya no estás perdiendo peso o no estás teniendo más resultados es porque quiere decir que tus calorías están en mantenimiento. Conforme vas perdiendo peso tu cuerpo va quemando menos calorías o se está acostumbrando a las calorías que le estás dando, necesitas hacer un cambio drástico para confundir al cuerpo y salga de su zona de comfort; así que necesitas reducir tu ingesta de calorías o aumentar tu gasto calórico . Ahora, los hombres debido a su composición corporal construyen masa muscular más fácil por lo tanto queman grasa más rápido A más masa muscular en tu cuerpo significa que tú cuerpo debe trabajar más y esto requiere energía (calorías) por ello los hombres tienen una mayor tasa metabólica. . Así que si eres mujer tienes que prestar atención a las pesas, la construcción de masa muscular solo se hace con levantamiento de pesas y no con zumba o con cualquier actividad que solo implique trabajo cardiovascular.
