What’s the best time of day to workout? The time of day that you will continue to workout with the most consistency, so choose a time that works for you. Some find it easiest to get it done early and then move on with the rest of the day, while others feel like they don’t have the energy to exercise until later on. I love AM workouts. Here’s my usual morning routine - although it doesn’t always go this smoothly, I try to do this pretty much every morning! • 1. Water. This is a non-negotiable every morning, first thing! 2. Coffee. Same as above. 😂 3. I usually take 30-45 min to chill and drink my coffee so while I do that I like to read, usually a textbook for what ever class I’m taking. If not that, I usually read personal development books or something to do with training and exercise. 4. Write. I’ve done gratitude journaling in the past, and sometimes I still do - but I’m a huge task list person. I like to organize my thoughts and things I need to take care of that day. 5. Workout. This is Anne, we’ve been friends for a long time and I know she had touch moments in her life. Today, she is probably in her best shape of all time, she is healthy inside and out. She started doing yoga, changed her eating habits, and has a great, supportive husband. She is always traveling and every week she spends a few hours in the kitchen doing her meal prep. When she travels she brings her yoga mat. Today’s healthy #TUESDAYTIP is all about WATER 💦!! I’ve posted about this a lot, but you wouldn’t believe how many people aren’t drinking enough water! Water is crucial to your health! One tip I give is to find a favorite water jug. Whether its 24oz, 32oz, 64oz....use it everyday. Figure out how many times you need to fill it up a day to get all your water in. That way you don’t even have to think about it. Write your goals and affirmations or favorite motivational quotes and mantra words on it! 💛Another -1lbs at this mornings weigh in!! 💪Wasn't looking forward to getting onto the scales after 2x chinese meals 🤣but just shows what food optimising does! I reckon having ran 3x 5k in the last week helped too 🤔 I am definitely feeling better in myself 💛 1lb might not sound alot to some, but looking at this image really puts it in perspective. A healthy spine is a healthy back! ::Lower back pain:: A lot of people experience lower back pain and can not pin point why you have that. Going back to a previous video, checking to see if you have an excessive anterior or posterior pelvic tilt is the first step. (Performing the cat-cow maneuver). The next step, is seeing where in your spine you may not have full range of motion. Often times, when your spine isn’t happy, your lower back suffers. Laying on a foam roller horizontally, knees bent and letting the spine relax over that foam roller can help alleviate as well as determine where in your spine you are lacking range of motion. Move all the way up (starting right above the tail bone) and pause each time as you work towards your thoracic (or right below the shoulder blades). Do not forget, I repeat do not forget, stretch those hamstrings! Rotate your toes in when the toe flexed up (dorsiflexion) as well as outwards to stretch all parts of your hamstring. Another spot to check, the glute hamstring tie in. A very pesky spot to release. But by using a tennis ball or myofascial release ball, you can sit on the tie in, flex the toe in dorsiflexion, ands hinge the hips in a rocking motion to relief and alleviate lower back pain.

#q oats or smoothie bowls? for me, it’s oats for sure😍 I mean I love smoothie bowls but living in England it never really seems like the right weather!! my go to recipe: 1/2 cup oats 1/2 cup water (or more mylk) 1/2 cup mylk a lot of cinnamon then I just cook on the stovetop for a few mins😍 for toppings I usually put a heap of fruit/berries, a sort of nut or seed, my fav combo is almond butter + banana🤩 hope you have a good tuesday!

Two years ago (2016) I was the guy on the left. 261lbs, pre diabetic,hypertension,gout,severe acid reflux and just plain tired all the time. All I wanted to do was sleep. I just thought I was doomed to be this way. I was in the gym several days a week and just assumed due to my hypo-thyroidism I was not gonna lose the weight. I even had a doctor tell me I would never have normal cholesterol levels due to my thyroid. Then my wife found this program through a friend. Our lives changed. I’ve lost 61lbs and kept it off! This past January for my annual Firefighter physical all my labs weren’t just normal,they were optimal! I got a superior fitness rating! I feel great and life is amazing!

I love them !! 🥰 At least once a week I have to prepare them ..... especially because dried fruit is an important food for our body, it is enough to eat a minimum amount to see the beneficial effects. Very simple preparation, all you have to do is chop up all the ingredients listed and make balls at the end ........ • 5 dates • 4 figs • 7 almonds • 7 pistachios • 5 hazelnuts • 1🥄maple syrup • coconut flakes
