How I eat when it’s just me - my husband is away and my 3 year old has eaten! Neither would eat this for dinner. I have to hide most vegetables for my son, he eats a few but far more if they are blended up in a pasta sauce. And my husband likes hot food (I prefer cold foods). Tonight is greens with lentils, tuna, olives, carrot, tomato, avocado and cheese. Oh yeah...and a glass of red wine. Super simple. Raw. This journey isn't always sunshine and roses. You see the views and the smiles once I reach the top/end...but what you don't see is the struggle to get there. Man I get messages or comments from people I know or people I don't know saying 'I wish I had your motivation' 'I wish I had your drive' 'I wish I could do that' what's stopping you? Why can't you do it? What is your "excuse" ? If you set your mind on wanting to change for the better nothing will stop you! I am unfit as fuck, I do these climbs/tracks/stairs but I don't do it in one go. I stop multiple times to rest but that's ok. The more times I go up the more I improve and the less I stop. Don't be scared to try something new, step out of your comfort zone...you might like it. I started this journey because I couldn't go into a shop and buy clothes. Here are some DIY recipes for detoxing your home! I'll be sharing a few over the coming weeks.

SURFACE SPRAY
{Recipe 1}
5 drops of doTERRA Lemon Essential Oil
5 drops of doTERRA Tea Tree Essential Oil
PER 100ml liquid
{Eg: if you have a 500ml spray bottle then use 50 drops of essential oil}
Top with water
Use Glass Spray bottle {Recipe 2}
1 tablespoon of doTERRA OnGuard Cleaner Concentrate
Top with water
Use Glass Spray bottle

GLASS CLEANER
1 part water
1 part white vinegar
5 drops of doTERRA Lemon Essential Oil for 100ml of liquid
So HALF water/ HALF vinegar
{Eg: if you have a 500ml bottle then use 25 drops of essential oil}

Just realised I never posted anything yesterday! I was distracted by a visit from my beautiful little nephew ๐Ÿฅฐ breakfast was shredded wheat, salmon fish cakes for lunch and roast pork dinner for tea! • Today I’m starting with a bowl of chocolate and vanilla porridge, using 40g oats (hexb), skimmed milk (part hexa), vanilla essence and 1tsp chocpot (0.5). Well after as crazy long journey to London we finally made it! ......... All our train lines were cancelled due to somebody being hit by a train so a 2 hour journey took us 7 hrs with several diversions and pit stops ......... This picture is about halfway through where we decided to use stop, breathe, have some lunch and reassess the journey options rather than keep hitting the same obstacles ....... We decided that we'd enjoy the journey, embrace the struggle, safe in the knowledge that we'd get there eventually ....... We even buddied up with someone in the same situation and shared a taxi for part of the journey instead of the train ........ Feeling frustrated with your fitness or weight loss journey? Do the same. Stop, take stock, consider different options and just enjoy the process. You WILL reach your goal eventually as long as you don't give up

38 WEEKS// So excited yesterday I had my last day at my day job now officially on Maternity leave!!! Feel a little in limbo waiting for baby to arrive, and also torn do I rest or do I keeping moving to get this bubba out! I did have a nap today I took my chance after spending a morning of nesting ๐Ÿ˜‚ but it is not like I can rest during next week with school drop offs and pick ups and all their activities plus hoping with being active recovery will be slightly ๐Ÿ˜‰ easier ๐Ÿ˜ How do you spending your time waiting for baby?

Growing up as a kid my mother always made the best homemade fudge then the recipe was passed down to me. Do you ever just eat without actually putting thought into WHAT YOUR EATING??? Or do you grab whatever is laying around and just stuff your face to fill the emptiness!!! Our body is 80% water which we lose on a daily basis through our skin as perspiration and water also removes the waste and toxins in our body. So it is extremely important to replenish that on a daily basis to maintain the balance. Lack of water intake rings a warning signal in our brain and the brain sends signal to the different parts of the body to conserve water. If that happens a number of hormonal changes can occur in our body which will adversely affect our body. This would just be mean not to share. The recipe is a bit of several different recipes I found searching the gram, but as I can't follow a recipe I wrote down my own. I couldn't follow that either and this is roughly what I ended up with. Raw Snickers Cake Nougat 25-30  dates, pitted ½ cup coconut cream 1½ cup almond flour ½ cup dessicated coconut 4 tbsp cocoa powder ½ cup coconut cream Mix the dates and coconut cream until smooth. Ad the rest and press down in a baking tin. Freeze. Caramel 25-30 dates, pitted ½ cup smooth peanut butter (good quality 100% peanuts) 1 cup melted coconut oil 1 cup roughly chopped unsalted peanuts Flaky salt Mix the dates and warm coconut oil until smooth. Ad the peanut butter. This will come out very oily. Place it in a strainer with a bowl underneath. Let the excess oil dripp down, pressing the mixture to get it out. I was left with just over ½ cup excess oil. The save this and use it for the chocolate. Take the baking tin out of the freezer and spread the peanuts on it and sprinkle the salt. Then spread the caramel mixture on it and smoothen it out. Freeze. Chocolate Coat Oil from the caramel 5 tbsp cocoa powder 3 tbsp agave syrup or sweetener of choice Heat the oil and stir down the cocoa powder and sweetener. Pour on the cake and freeze again. Let defrost in the fridge at least 4 hours before serving it. I decorated mine with roughly chopped unsalted peanuts, roughly chopped 90% chocolate and a sprinkle of flaky salt. 3 tbsp agave syrup or sweetener of choice

Heat the oil and stir down the cocoa powder and sweetener. Pour on the cake and freeze again.

Let defrost in the fridge at least 4 hours before serving it. I decorated mine with roughly chopped unsalted peanuts, roughly chopped 90% chocolate and a sprinkle of flaky salt.

From the past few years I have really learnt the power of “focusing on less - to achieve more” 
When I feel like this I take a step back and I think... Instead of focusing on the million and one things I “should” or “could” be doing but can’t, i'll try to break it all down into one really tiney tiny task.

I ask myself what is just ONE thing I can do today that needs to be done. โค๏ธ JUST ONE and nothing more. 
When I get this one task done I feel like I’ve achieved something rather than feeling like a failure because I didn’t complete the million and one. 
Then I am able to breathe regroup and move forward.

Much goes the same with a Body Transformation. 
We are all totally guilty of watching others on social media thinking i have to do everything they're doing to be as successful as them.

Problem is, all it does is overwhelm us and send us ten steps backwards. โค๏ธ Just focus on one positive change you can make to get you further along our journey. โค๏ธ JUST ONE 
Until you've achieved that one then you can move on to the next ๐Ÿค—

Isabody challenge #7 completed..this challenge has documented the first 16 weeks of pregnancy! . . My energy rock-bottomed during the first trimester. Feeding myself became a chore so convenience & ease wins every time. Which can also mean all the bad foods can creep up. My smoothies and snacks have saved me. . . Since coming out of the study closet I've been asked a few times by family and friends what I see myself doing once I'm qualified. So why did I decide to become a personal trainer? My intention is to be apart of a community of people who push and inspire one another, while taking the time to understand their goals to help them fulfil their full potential. I want to make sure that my clients know how to perform each exercise with confidence and that they know how that feels in their body. I want to make sure each & every person feels welcomed, supported and embraced within the facility and that they look forward to spending time on themselves. I want to help my clients blast through limiting beliefs/ patterns that have held them back for so long, I want them to realise how strong, determined and resilient they can be. I believe it is so important to not only focus on physical transformation but also mental, our beliefs about ourselves are what will enable us to stick to the changes we've made in our lives to create the physical transformation, without that it will always be a bandwagon that is jumped on and off of. I want to encourage others to know there is no reason to fear failure when trying new things as failure is only success in progress, trying and trying again is EVERYTHING. I WANT TO BE APART OF A SPACE WHERE WE CAN DO ALL OF THIS AND HAVE FUN WHILE DOING IT ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿคธ‍โ™€๏ธ

My intention is to be apart of a community of people who push and inspire one another, while taking the time to understand their goals to help them fulfil their full potential. I want to make sure that my clients know how to perform each exercise with confidence and that they know how that feels in their body. I want to make sure each & every person feels welcomed, supported and embraced within the facility and that they look forward to spending time on themselves. I want to help my clients blast through limiting beliefs/ patterns that have held them back for so long, I want them to realise how strong, determined and resilient they can be. I believe it is so important to not only focus on physical transformation but also mental, our beliefs about ourselves are what will enable us to stick to the changes we've made in our lives to create the physical transformation, without that it will always be a bandwagon that is jumped on and off of.

These are my three. I helped make them! Isn’t that just incredible to think about? They wouldn’t be here if not for the life choices I went through. So yesterday I posted about how my daughter was feeling under the weather. She’s feeling much better today but has a hoarse voice and little cough. This is what I applied to her chest this morning and again tonight! . โž• I took the Rose Touch (great for immune support) and rolled it on her chest. I put a squirt of FCO in my hand added a drop of Lemon (cleansing for congestion) and a drop of AromaTouch (great for circulation) and massaged it in (layered over the Rose) . She loved the smell ๐Ÿ’• . For respiratory support we have so many options with our oils...Another favorite of ours for congestion is Breathe, Cardamom and Lime. GLUTEN v DAIRY v YOUR STOMACH So these pictures were from yesterday (in blue)and today (in pink). Only 1 day apart!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I wanted to show the effects #gluten & #dairy CAN have on your body and certainly have on mine ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ซ I’m not coeliac but I definitely have a sensitivity to gluten and dairy. Both acidic, inflammatory foods. ๐Ÿ™‰ So yesterday I decided to test it out again. I ate a white bread and cheese toasted sandwich and home made lasagna (with normal lasagna sheets and grated cheese). I wanted to see if my body still reacted and BAM within not even 15 minutes to half an hour my stomach was the size of a small ball. Not to mention cramping and painful. ๐Ÿคฆ‍โ™€๏ธ So if you find your stomach doing this, maybe you have some sensitivities as well. I always put it down to just eating too much or too quickly or the fact I had salmonella poisoning years ago. ๐Ÿ™„ But when I did my first 30 days to healthy living and my stomach shrank and I had no bloating and cramping I knew I was onto something. ๐Ÿ‘ I didn’t know that foods can be what’s zapping your energy, making your skin break out, causing you to not sleep properly, and having crazy hormones. ๐Ÿ™‰ I do have lots of people say how can you cut out dairy, gluten, alcohol, coffee & processed sugar when doing the 30 day program. I say how can you not?? I did think it was crazy though when I started I thought wtf am I going to eat?! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™€๏ธ It’s the best way of finding out what’s good for your body and what’s not. It doesn’t mean you give it up forever!! It just means we introduce them slowly back in to see how your body responds. And if you have been sick of feeling well just blah maybe it’s time to try something different. I would rather the girl in the pink any day and if it means making better choices that’s what I gotta do for my body’s sake plus I have a whole new look on whole foods and fuelling my body. I’m not perfect every day, I still love a drink every now and then and a coffee but it’s now 80/20. ๐Ÿ’‍โ™€๏ธ It’s a lifestyle not a crash diet, and when you feel how good your body can actually be, the extra energy is absolutely worth it!! #glutenfree #dairyfree #30daystohealthyliving #makingchanges #healthymum
