On our 14th anniversary we have learned to love with an open heart, be the listeners, the helpers and the bigger people. It's been more than 14 years... and to be honest we never stop learning along the way.
We keep on choosing eachother because its plain as day we are nothing short but amazing together. We are each other's strengths and weakness... we are each other's bestfriend and each other's go to "everything" we are each other's biggest support (ain't this the truth) when we feel like we cant we hold eachother up only to say we can.. We are a force to be reckoned with and together we show how its done. Not many thought we would make it this far, but we are happy to say we have. And as we continue our journey and complete our 14th year.
We will always continue to choose us... because truly no one compares to what we have (not even close)
Life is better together, the memories have passed us by only to have us continue to make more. Now that we have all our children, we have the tools to show them what life and marriage is all about..in hope's they have partners in the future that will treat them as we treat eachother.
Marriage is about growth and commitment... that's what we have. Not many can say that!
We know our wants and needs itll take more than just 14 years to figure this out but we know we are willing to take this journey 14 plus more years to come!
Thank you love for sharing your heart and life with me, it takes someone with an open heart to love the way you love me. I'm thankful and grateful each and everyday I wake up and your the first person I see.. ♡
Happy 14th Anniversary to us Honey! Our life is a crazy roller coaster but there is no other person I'd share this with than with you!
May God bless us with many more years to come... ♡

"Days of trial are the most valuable and life-changing." ‼️STORY TIMEEE‼️😱🤫😉 We have experienced a negative amount in the bank a couple times, discovered the lies, felt the betrayal, have had one misunderstanding after another and are currently dealing with health challenges, but the VICTORIES, the MEMORIES, the GROWTH in US has been BIGGER and BETTER.🏆🙌🎉
Thank GOD, for the OPPORTUNITY to LEARN, GROW and UNITE.
As you all know, I blog about mental health.
A lot of military women get in touch, and some men too. I try to help as much as possible, but as I am not qualified yet, all I can do is offer them the details of various charities, depending on the country they come from, which can help them immensely.
What I have learnt is that some men follow certain hashtags, like these: •mum
•motherhood... You get me!
So then, these men (100% all American so far), feel that any public Instagram account gives them the right to pester women. Now, before you even start (again) with “Why have a public account” lecture, I have to network for my writing and to help with mental health/maternal mental health. My account has so far got me two interviews and many contacts.
Also, there is a wonderful mummy community out there. A lot of mums are lonely, because they work too much amd have absolutely no time to socialise, or they are stay at home mums, or they are like me who work from home and support their husband with his study after his full time work.
I am not going to lie, it gets very lonely here in the UK, because most people prefer to just stay in their homes with their families in the evenings. I completely understand this, because everyone works so hard. But it can get lonely.
So this is where social media shows its good side; this is where we can support one another.
My Instagram mummies are invaluable to me. I learn a lot from them, and I really look up to some, as they are incredibly successful women who have worked incredibly hard to manage their work life balance, but also they have amazing careers.
Our public accounts, however, are not a MummyCloud storage system where we can store your teeny tiny 🥕pics!
Being a mother, OR A WOMAN, does not mean that we WANT IT! We don’t want it! We are married, single or just happily celibate; so take your teeny tiny 🥜 pics and jog on!
I sincerely apologise to my American relatives and friends, but it’s true. They all seem to be American. 🤷🏻♀️
