It improves stability control at your ankle, knee, hip and pelvis. And strength in the abdominals, hamstrings, quadriceps and of course glutes. • The key ๐Ÿ— to the exercise is maintaining pelvic control, in both anterior/posterior tilt and rotationally. Flip to the second picture. It shows me being "stacked" attempting to choke someone. This shouldn't happen if I did what @steelcityma taught me, but here we are ๐Ÿ˜…. That's a lot of compressive force on the spine, enough to hurt a lot of people. BUT, my training prepares me for this.
