This evening’s effort - over roast chicken breasts and vegetables. Hmmm hmmmm.
I believe this is one of the hardest answers to wrap your mind around. We received a call from the hiring rep yesterday afternoon and had the wind knocked from our sails when we heard, “I’m sorry, this is not the right fit.”. The day seemed to slow and all those dreams and visions of a new life in Tennessee felt like they just vanished. Christian asked to speak one on one with the hiring manager and a phone call was arranged for this morning. This phone call lifted our spirits a bit and we are in a holding process, at least for this particular opportunity.
One thing this process is teaching us, is patience. The conversation this morning has put some fresh wind back in the sails, but we will have to continue being patient. They want Christian, but need to figure out the right position to place him. There are three possible options and further conversations will help place him in the right one. So friends, we ask for prayer while we continue to learn patience and allow the Lord to lead in His timing.
