House update: In full reno mode at our new house in the woods this weekend. ✨🌲While Curtis and his dad painted almost the entire nursery, @cindyboeds & I spent a full 6 hours building an ikea dresser for the baby. 😅🤦🏼♀️ I promise - it was a really complicated build!!!

Especially thankful for this man right here (behind our newly built crib by the way ☺️🙌🏼), for his willingness to paint and work when I can’t, and for making our new house feel so homey - even though we have zero furniture in it and still don’t have a move-in date. Our little family is learning to appreciate every moment, even in this hard period of waiting and anticipating what’s next! ❤️

Today was supposed to be our baby shower. Instead we’ve spent the day running back and forth from the NICU, all while trying to get the house ready for when Asher does come home. 🏡

It’s been tough being home and not having him here with us. At least we’re keeping busy I suppose. We’re grateful the hospital has a live video system where we can watch him at all times while finalizing all the things on our baby to-do list. 📝

The adorable baby furniture 😍 we ordered from @babytymefurniture was delivered, so the nursery is starting to come together. I never thought when I scheduled the delivery that our little one would already be here, but I guess that’s life. Make all the plans you want and God is going to do things in His timing regardless so you just have to roll with it. 😊

Well, we’re doing our best adjusting to our new normal. It’s been a crazy November to say the least.
