On this weekend’s Hypnobirthing course, we talked about the many, many things the birth partner can do to optimise things before, during and after the birth. The need not be a spare part. Many women we work with are blown away by how they utilise what they learn with us.
My kids are 5 and 2, and we are still refining what parenting team work looks like. Sometimes the balance is 👌🏻and other times we are like 🤔🤪 but we are definitely heading in the right direction.
Yesterday was International Men’s Day (but by the time I realised, I’d already posted twice, so...). If we have male partners, let’s reject the societal chatter like “daddy day care” and normalise confident, competent parenting by fathers. .
