What is your definition of growth individually?
In relationship to someone, it doesnt always have to be the same goals because then, where is the individuality? Unless of course, it matches naturally. Which in turn, is always beautiful.
You water me, I water you, but first you must water yourself.
Relationships aren't so you can dump all your trauma, insecurities and unresolved feelings on someone, expecting them to understand and do it for you. STOP THE TRAUMA BONDING.
Allow yourself to be open, no matter how much someone els has "damaged," you. You are not damaged goods. I myself have thought at one point in time, that I will always be another damaged good and that noone will ever be worthy enough of my trust.
I'm still actively, privately, working on these things but I also am allowing myself to move forward. It's so hard sometimes, I get it.
There's bounderies and then there are walls.
Walls block out anything and everything, including the beautiful possibilities of people, places and things. Walls are traumas, disappointments, anger, sadness, fears of the past. Noone but you can choose to take them down.
Personal Bounderies are allowing yourself to be the open, courageous, beautiful, light that you are but setting limits and guidelines for yourself that you believe to be reasonable, safe ways for other individuals to behave towards you and how you will respond.
Those who care will be patient, those who know of these walls, will understand but only YOU can do the work.

Hungry dogs. I never feed them...just ask them.
spring evenings are my favourite 🌅
Happy to be back in my happy place 👩🏼🍳 All the praise hands to my parents for taking the kiddos today 🙌🏼 I spring cleaned this morning and in the afternoon Jeff and I rearranged our “temporary” furniture 😂 We had a temporary couch for 2 years once, hoping this time around won’t take so long 😉

Still don’t know if I did him justice but here’s the finished product from all my procrastination! This is based off a photo I took on the Nazca plain during my life changing trip to Peru back in 2015. This’ll be part of an ongoing exploration series based off the hidden history of Peru. .
Stay posted for prints that actually work out!
