A pledge "$500, which I hope will be enough to get him a new bed, toys, food & anything else "
Given up because his family became HOMELESS, #Harvey has only known the safety of a loving home since he was a small #PUPPY. Now 2 years of age, this proven family pet is overwhelmed at the #scary#shelter & not himself. He is shy of new people, that his parents knew, so it makes sense that immersed in a facility where there is nothing but new people & #barking dogs, is not condusive to Harvey being able to settle in & acclimate. Normally he is friendly, sweet, playful & mellow. He’s also affectionate, & was great with the teenager he lived with & loved. As is always the case with these poor, #sensitive, souls, the ACC hasn’t the time or the patience to deal with his stress, & they certainly will not give him more time to help him find his rudder. – it’s always the poor, shy ones that end up being passed over & ultimately killed. For what? For no good reason, that’s what. Because there is nothing wrong with Harvey & he didn’t do anything to deserve this – he was a model friend, companion & pet with a STELLAR RESUME who only wanted to follow his family around and be near them. He did everything right and nothing wrong. His sin? Being shy.
Won’t you take him in? Read his glowing owner notes.
