Throughout days I have learned life is like a light. You can either be that spark or be the switch to others. It's the matter of how you choose to bring positivity. We might feel our light dimming from time to time but we always have to remember it wont last long as long as we keep positivity. Our lights shine brighter when we help others find there way back to their light. So find your light and keep it, its beautiful and it radiates to show others who you are. Help others with there lights they might forget they have one or feel like there light is going. So shine your light and you're importance to shine along with others. #shine#light
Going from islands in the 90s to snow in Lousiana has immersed me into actual anxiety about the amount of things I am not prepared for this holiday season. Anyone else feeling equally excited and stressed 🙋🏼♀️ Check out my childlike reaction to snow in my stories, in the meantime I’m escaping back to the Caribbean until the new year! #avoiding#bye
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
This has always been a favourite of mine.
Appropriate I got it from a basketball movie when I was a teenager.
A beautiful reminder;
Open your heart.
