I could point out so many things I don't like about this pose and how it turned out to be.. BECAUSE IT'S BLOODY DIFFICULT and doesn't even look it 😫 @solveighorsfield and me sweating away trying to get this blasted sideplank 😑 BUT I like my outfit 😊 so that's nice. All of it stolen from @solveighorsfield of course, because that's what sisters are for 🤙🏼 . I'm currently very much unwell and in bed and therefore will simply show you my favourite brand of plant-based milk if I'm not fancying soy-milk. I personally don't mind soy as long as it's from Europe and preferably Austria but lots of people don't like it so here's my favourite oat-milk 😍 it's organic, which is a major plus, and not in the least bit watery, like some plant-based milk. Still, better than pus in milk 😅 Pus? Yes, pus. Did you know that in every single cow milk you drink and every product made of it, there will be pus? (Eiter) You think that's not up to Austria's hygienic standards? Oh but there is a regulation! There's a maximum amount of percentage of cells that form pus that is tolerated in milk to be sold. And if you've been to a dairy farm, you will know that Mastitis (infection of the mammary gland) is the norm. I've put a milking machine on a cow with mastitis and she tried to kick me. Any breast-feeding mother would understand her sentiments. Naturally, I wanted to let her be and asked the worker to skip milking her. He tied her leg away so tightly she couldn't kick anymore and attached the machine anyway. This was not the first or last cow that this happened to while I was there. Friends, I really don't think anyone wants to support something like that anymore. Therefore, Provamel oat milk can be bought at DM or Denns in Vienna. Or ordered online of course. Exercise of the Day: Side Plank Variations The Side Plank primarily strengthens the obliques, which are located next to your abs on both sides of your body.The side plank is an often overlooked exercise for building strong abs. Working either side of your body separately will help identify any weaknesses in your joints and muscle. If you find you can hold a side plank easy on one side and barely at all on the other then there’s an imbalance you need to work on. Exercise of the Day: Side Plank Variations 
The Side Plank primarily strengthens the obliques, which are located next to your abs on both sides of your body.The side plank is an often overlooked exercise for building strong abs. Working either side of your body separately will help identify any weaknesses in your joints and muscle.

ONE GOAL I’m working on now is to finish my PhD. It’s been a long road and numerous edits for my dissertation, including a complete commute change because so many of my original members left the university. It’s hard for me to stay motivated on these long term projects but I’m carving out time to make sure draft number 200 gets finished! 😂

I love my side planks! The benefits are so worth it! 
1. Side planks strengthen your shoulders and wrists.
2. Improve your balance and posture. 
3. Strengthen your core muscles (obliques, lower back, pelvic floor muscles, hips, glutes and of course “six pack” muscles.)
4. They might help you reduce back pain.

I am performing advanced side plank with a KB (why there is no kettlebell emoji?) I am holding my KB in #bottomsup position, that improves shoulder stability, grip and wrist strength. I guess it was inevitable that my favorite posting groups would overlap. So here is my Daily Plank combined with Floor Is Lava Friday, where you can do any pose as long as it’s off the floor. If my boss reviews the cameras from last night, he’s gonna love this one. “WTF is this idiot doing?” 😂 Got inspired to do a 3min and change treadmill plank / vashistasana / push-up sequence, which I’m dedicating to my teacher and birthday yogi @lianna_yoga. She transformed my rather generic practice: routine and predictable flows became fun and creative, and I can always count on her to throw some interesting new twists in, and always multiple options to fly 🦅 and invert 🙃. Now I’m spoiled.
