If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen.
I’m back with another morally dubious photograph of someone passed out in Tokyo. This was taken on Halloween, but it could have been any time, regardless of what the women are wearing. While not the average Japanese uniform, it’s probably no less common than seeing someone wearing a kimono around Tokyo. I believe the advertisement behind the women is for 50 cent beers, so it's no wonder that Little-Bo-Peep's friend is under the weather. Probably half the people passed out around Tokyo are by themselves, while the rest are lucky to have a friend taking care of them. They protect their pickled friends until they can get them walking, or a cab comes along to pick them up. With beer prices so low in Japan compared to Canada, it's no wonder that people get into trouble; visitors also have to be careful because it’s easy to find places offering an all-you-can-drink night for $20-$30; luckily they also sell hangover cures.
