I can say that diet is def the hardest part of changing yourself. I have went from fat to thin to muscular and every step has its challenges. No matter what step your at you’ve got to stay mentally strong and positive about what’s to come.. so here I am again, trying to cut weight, 3rd day of low carb on the right, no incredible changes obviously but I can tell my arms are losing the fat first. (Damn midsection.. :( lol ) can’t wait to see what the next 10 weeks bring! To all the people starting your weight loss journey save this!
1: Set a significant and meaningful goal:
Setting a big goal will give you something to aim towards, you can use smaller goals that build up towards this significant achievement. Make sure it is meaningful to you if its not you will do half ass work and not achieve this goal. Set a big and meaningful goal and go for it 💪🏻 2: Create a calorie deficit
For weight loss to be successful, you need to be in a calorie deficit. This just simply means you need to eat a little less. To find your calorie deficit do this equation
BW in pounds multiplied by 11.5. This number will be your baseline for your calorie deficit. Adjust this as the weeks go on.
3: Hit 8k-10k steps
Part of weight loss is moving more, and one of the best ways to do this is to get a Fitbit and hit 8k-10 steps a day. By doing this, we will burn calories and get closer to our goals.
By hitting 10k steps a day, you will burn an extra 500 calories.
4: Eat the food you love
If you eat food that you don’t like, then you will more likely give up very early and not hit those goals. Eat the food that you love if you do this then you will more likely stick to it and achieve those goals.
5: Find an exercise that you enjoy
Not everyone will enjoy going to the gym and doing a weight session, and that is okay, but for you to make this last for the long run, then you need to find something that is challenging and enjoyable. Doing something that you don’t enjoy will only lead to you giving up.
