Taking some time to rest today..and seen as it's raining seems a perfect time to just switch off, close the doors and enjoy some quiet reflection. How are you spending this wet Friday?
Feeling exciting to be opening homestore next weekend..so I need to be ready! Its a time for new beginnings and transition for court house farm. The homestore will reflect the interiors of the house with brocante finds, painted furniture and for 'bloom and grow' we have lovely seeds by @gracealexanderflowers coming.

My favourite features of historic homes are not the grand rooms and priceless furniture and artworks on display but rather the small details that reflect the craftsmanship of a time when everyday objects were made of noble materials, built to last and beautiful to behold, like the panelling, window latch and stone scullery sink seen here.
Slow progress but progress! There are some painted walls and carpets and I focussed on the important things and bought a painting I loved. Who needs a shower and an oven that works?! 🤷🏼♀️ BUT after 6 months of no heating.. It's due to start on Monday (just as summer arrives obvs 🙄😬) This wonky beast of a house is teaching me a lot about patience 🤦🏼♀️💙
