Soaking up some Vitamin D with my morning black coffee ☕️ from @starbucks 🌞😌 So after some investigation, deliberation, rumination and some general thinking 🧐🤔 I’ve settled on my game plan for my goals....ultimately I want to lose fat (namely the last bit on my abs) while increasing my strength - pretty unique right 😂😂😂 I think some of you guys may share this dream 🤔 So the game plan....well swipe right and see the planned daily calories & macros... Calories - 1,800 - This feels like a good middle ground to start with, I’m consuming enough to fed the beast but not too much that I’ll struggle to place my self in deficit on training days. Carbs - 135g - I think dropping my carbs below 100g is asking for trouble with me with regards to binges and fatigue, so this will hopefully satisfy the training requirements and keep me feeling fuller during those 16 hour fasts. Protein - 180g - To be honest this number was spat out to keep the balance but I’m happy as I’m consuming over 1g per pound of body weight (approx 1.25 x). Fats - 60g - Fats always get a bad rap but they’re good for you and an essential part of a balanced and healthy plan. The number was based on recent weeks, it gives me enough to compliment my energy requirements from carbs and allowance to consume my daily amount of nuts (I swear by these little babies for the micronutrients - check out the benefits online). But this should keep me in a safe zone from not storing too much in the body. This is very much trial & error, I’ll see how I get on for a couple of weeks monitoring mood, performance & stats and adjust if necessary. One size does not fit all and what works for me or some ripped dude on insta won’t necessarily work for you (I’ve learnt this the hard way).
