Everywhere you hear or read: Just let go. I usually find this as difficult as not to think of a pink elephant. My mind wants to take over and tries hard to let go. Obviously impossible😊 . . Alors oui j'étais super contente qu'ils reviennent, mais ce qui m'a rendu heureuse c'est qu'ils aient décidé de continuer à faire du yoga parce qu'ils avaient ressenti les bienfaits lors de la première séance: plus détendus, un meilleur sommeil et une meilleure digestion❣️ . Today we do a variation of #goddesspose. . There are many reasons you should try this exercise: - Strengthens your legs and butt - Strengthens and lengthens your back - Strengthens your shoulders and arms - Works your stability - Can be done anywhere . ℹ️ ▪️Take a wide stand, both legs externally rotated so your feet are facing the outside. ▪️Bend your knees in a 90degree angle (less for a regression) and keep pushing them back, so you‘ve a nice stretch on your inner thighs. ▪️Raise your arms to the side, but keep the shoulders low. ▪️Inhale: activate your pelvic floor, lengthen your spine. ▪️Exhale: bend forward . 📶 Progression: Raise your heels . 🌀 Stay for 4 deep breaths or longer if your legs can stand the 🔥 😉 . 🔙 come back up and do a back curl to counter pose. . . Triangle Pose day 😃 . ℹ️ How you do it: From standing, step your left foot back. Turn it out, but keep both heels on the same line. With an inhalation extend your right side body over your right leg and release your right hand to the shin. Both feet are firmly in the ground. Open through your torso and lift your left arm up. Externally rotate your right thigh, engage your pelvic floor and open front of your pelvis. . 🌀 Stay for 5 – 8 deep breaths. . 📶 Progression: reach with your left arm over your head to lengthen your body side even more . ⚠️ To keep your front knee safe: Push your shin into your hand and your hand into your shin. **THE MAGIC OF LIFE** This picture was taken exactly a year ago in Jaipur, the pink city (Rajasthan, India) 😍 . I didn't know it then, but this trip to India was going to be an eye- and heart-opening experience that would change my life 🌈 . There's definitely a before and after India and I'm so glad I followed my heart and travelled there despite my fears 🇮🇳 . Here a nice addition to your warm up. ♨️🤗 . When I do sunsalutations as a warm up - which I often do 🤫- I like to ad some rotations for my back. ☝🏻As you know, we should move our spine in all directions to keep it healthy. Sunsalutation (Type A) gives our spine forward and backward moves, so we need lateral moves and some spine rotations. . 👉🏻 Today I show you an exercise for spine rotation. . I like this twist flow as it’s easy to remember. Isn’t it nice when you can concentrate on your breath and body and not the choreography of the flow?! 😉 Yes, this flow can be synchronized with your breath. And I highly encourage you to do so. 🙏🏻 It just has too many benefits we would leave on the table otherwise. Furthermore you can adapt it to your needs. Need a bit more support? Then you just put your back knee on the floor in the twist. Not warmed up yet? Just bend your knees in fullstretch to make it more comfortable. 👌🏻 . What‘s your thought on this flow? Hier mon chéri est rentré à la maison avec cette magnifique rose🌹 Non, on ne célébrait rien en particulier: il avait juste pensé à moi et eu envie de l'exprimer en m'offrant une rose 🙏🏻😍 . Je trouve que les plus beaux gestes sont ceux qui sont spontanés, ceux qui viennent directement du cœur, sans passer par le filtre du mental, qui dirait "mais pourquoi offrir une rose un 4 mars?" 🤔 . Si on accepte de laisser notre cœur nous guider, on sera toujours aligné avec notre nature profonde; nos actions, nos paroles et nos choix seront justes, parce que pris en conscience et par amour ❤️ . Le cœur nous envoie souvent des messages et des signes, mais très rapidement le mental prend le dessus et nous donne toute sorte de raisons pourquoi ce n'est pas une bonne idée de suivre notre cœur. Et pour cela, il brandit son arme la plus puissante (et plutôt convaincante): la peur 😱 . On a toujours le choix entre écouter la voix du cœur ou celle du mental, et c'est sûr qu'il est plus facile de rester dans le connu, la "certitude" et la "sécurité", mais la vie n'est-elle pas là pour être vécue, pour faire de nouvelles expériences et nous faire grandir? 🌱 . Um diese Herausforderungen anzugehen, brauchen Körper und Geist Kraft und Stabilität. Auch Erholungsphasen sind für unser Gleichgewicht wesentlich. Dabei kommen wir zur Ruhe und zurück zu uns selbst. Eine achtsame und ausgewogene Yoga Praxis mit passiven (Yin) und aktiven (Yang) Stellungen ermöglicht uns, Körper und Geist in Ausgleich zu bringen und dadurch mehr Stabilität und Gelassenheit im Alltag zu finden.⠀ In diesem Workshop lernen wir, wie wir unsere Yin- und Yang-Elemente erkennen und sie in Balance behalten. Nach einem kurzen Theorie-Teil gehen wir in die Praxis und wechseln zwischen Yin und Yang Stellungen. Dabei erfahren wir die Eigenschaften der beiden Formen von Yoga und wie wir sie miteinander verbinden können, um Körper und Geist ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen. ⠀ ⠀ Yin Yoga ist eine passive und meditative Form von Yoga, die immer mehr auf breites Interesse stösst. Viele Haltungen werden im Sitzen oder im Liegen geübt. Im Yin Yoga wird der Körper in Haltungen gebracht, in der er für einige Minuten verweilen kann. Das längere Halten ermöglicht dem Bindegewebe, wieder höhere Elastizität zu gewinnen. In diesem Workshop lernen wir, wie wir unsere Yin- und Yang-Elemente erkennen und sie in Balance behalten. Nach einem kurzen Theorie-Teil gehen wir in die Praxis und wechseln zwischen Yin und Yang Stellungen. Dabei erfahren wir die Eigenschaften der beiden Formen von Yoga und wie wir sie miteinander verbinden können, um Körper und Geist ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen. ⠀

Yin Yoga ist eine passive und meditative Form von Yoga, die immer mehr auf breites Interesse stösst. Viele Haltungen werden im Sitzen oder im Liegen geübt. Im Yin Yoga wird der Körper in Haltungen gebracht, in der er für einige Minuten verweilen kann. Das längere Halten ermöglicht dem Bindegewebe, wieder höhere Elastizität zu gewinnen. Auch der Geist kommt zur Ruhe und wird agiler. ⠀

Yang Yoga ist eine dynamische Form von Yoga, die körperliche Herausforderung mit hoher Konzentration und aktivem Atem verbindet. Durch achtsam praktizierten Yang Yoga entsteht physische Kraft und eine starke mentale Ausrichtung.⠀

Recently I don’t feel so comfortable in moving through my “all day yoga” poses anymore. I haven’t done any Inversions since the baby is in the right birth position. Today we look at Side-Angle Pose 😃 📶 This pose is a progression of Warrior 2 Pose. . ℹ️ Here’s how you do it: ▪️Stand wide, left foot pointing out, right one turned in 45 degrees. ▪️Inhale and lift arms out to side at shoulder level. ▪️On an exhale, bend legt knee 90 degrees and hinge to left from hips, extending torso over left thigh. ▪️Inhale and place place left hand on the floor, inside of your left foot and extend right arm overhead, palm facing down. ▪️Look toward right hand (if that’s ok with your neck). . 🌀 Hold for 5-8 breaths. . 🆙 Inhale: return to center, straightening left leg. 🔀 Repeat on opposite side . 📶 Regression: Place left forearm on thigh. . Being emotionally safe and stable is a feeling to be treasured. I am so grateful for the support system I’ve had around me lately, especially from fellow women (I love you). I am grateful for stepping outside of my ‘comfort’ zone, allowing myself to learn and grow further, and bloom harder. Our existence as individual human beings is all about the decisions we make, so we need to carefully listen to both our heart and intuition as we go through this whole process and weird thing that we decided to call ‘life’. Look for that power within your Self.

**OSER VIVRE MES RÊVES** Je me suis enfin décidée à sauter le pas et à aller vers mon rêve: commencer à donner des cours de yoga 🤸🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️ Certains d'entre-vous le savent, ça fait déjà quelques mois que j'ai obtenu le certificat de professeur de yoga, et pourtant je ne me sentais pas prête à enseigner, je doutais de moi, je me posais beaucoup de questions et je n'osais pas me lancer dans cette aventure 🙅🏻‍♀️ Pourquoi ? Par peur ! Encore et toujours la peur, cette émotion qui nous empêche d'aller vers l'avant, de sortir de notre zone de confort et vivre nos rêves ! J'avais beaucoup de peurs: peur de l'échec, peur de décevoir, peur de ne pas être à la hauteur, pour n'en mentionner que quelques-unes 😨 Et puis, une peur encore plus grande a fait surface: celle de passer à côté de queque chose. Du coup, mes autres peurs se sont un peu dissipées et jen ai profité pour commencer par faire des petits pas 🐾 J'ai réfléchi à un nom, cherché une salle, esquissé un logo, rien que des petites actions faciles pour pas que les peurs ne reviennent 😉 Pas après pas, progressivement, les choses se sont mises en place: j'ai trouvé une salle, un logo, je travaille sur le site internet et... j'ai deux inscrits pour le premier cours de jeudi prochain ✌🏻(Ce sont des amis certes, mais deux inscrits quand-même ! 😁) Je ne sais pas si mon site sera terminé d'ici la semaine prochaine, ni si j'aurai davantage d'élèves, mais peu importe !
