Without letting our heart darken; to every situation, we have the ability to chose our response. The way we respond is an external manifestation of our light within. . I find myself getting annoyed, not for publicly responding in a certain way, but for the feelings the situation generates within me. I get annoyed at something that I feel shouldn’t bother me. But those feelings aren’t to be judged, they are to be understood. They are a manifestation of a deeper unrest, they are a signal to go deeper within, by following the flickering flames of a candle lit path deep into the seat of the soul, you can understand and let go of buried emotional darkness, allow the universe to fill that void. The wave isn’t a wave without the power of the ocean.

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.” Nelson Mandela . I didn’t use to like Paris, the stress, the arrogance and the mood got on my nerves. Some 14 months later I return to find myself appreciating its beauty, all its quirks. I even enjoy le laisser aller et le je m’en foutisme, the mood now makes me want to wander, flâner, all day, I smile. When your heart opens, the situation stays the same but you see it in all it’s glory. External change is in vain, internal change is the only pursuit that can bring lasting joy

Live in the eternity contained within the space of an instant . Completely surrender to life, witness the greatness of the present instant and lose yourself to the eternities, the concept of time becomes unnecessary within that realm . “When you have an intense contact of love with nature or another human being, like a spark, then you understand that there is no time and that everything is eternal” - Paulo Coelho

When we create space, the universe fills it! . When we inhale, the shape change that occurs in our body lowers the pressure in the chest cavity and permits air to be pushed into the body by the weight of the planet’s atmosphere. In other words, when we create space, the universe fills it with the energy of Life! . The same in our lives, when we understand, accept and let go of traumas, emotions, patterns, etc we create space! And when we allow ourselves to create that space, the whispers of intuition grow into a roaring crowd, the universe comes in and fills that space with complete Love, with generosity and with Life itself! . When we create space, the universe fills it!

Fear the dark not. In the absence of light, all our senses are triggered, are alive, expanded into a new realm. We hear the distant crack, we smell the fresh drops of rain, we feel the tiniest rock under our feet, we taste the bitter cold. . Embrace the darkest of moment, embrace it for all of its beauty, all of its glory. Embrace it. It provides growth, expansion. Embrace it. Feel gratitude. . In the darkness, I feel most alive. . Darkness is not sadness or pain. Darkness is the place of fear, the place of the ego. Fear is nothing but a fickle product of the imagination. Embrace darkness for the light it shines upon your heart, for the light it shines within. Embrace it for the time it provides to expand your consciousness

A situation won’t change, and the beauty is in seeing our perception of it change as we walk upon the path of our Truth

The depth in a landscape is something that you cannot grasp, it extends beyond reach, beyond measure. Like the layers of consciousness, the inimaginable possibilities are only patiently revealed as we walk upon our path! . Perhaps a reflection of the depth of life, so many layers, without knowing our purpose, without following our intuition we stare at the mountain ahead stuck, unknown to the beauty that lays beyond. Seek what may be perceived as discomfort, Humans have an incredible power of adaptation. It is only be rising above the first plain, by trusting that there is something beyond that we can rise above the numbness and superficiality of that world. . Like the layers of consciousness, so much to explore, so much to discover, so much to enjoy, so much to love; infinite! Tremendous beauty in the possibility to continuously expand the realm of our consciousness!

Only by throwing yourself into the abyss of the unknown can you experience what will expand the realm of your mind and it’s realities. Otherwise you simply seek to wander in the world of known experiences, in the pursuit of a feeling, in the remembrance of memories of a moment. . Only by fully embracing every moment, in total trust, saying YES to life, not resisting, going with it, in it, can we start to understand the incredible gift that life is! As we do that, we begin to see the oneness of all, the walls of separateness are torn down and we begin to live our better self!

Everything around, every shop, every street, every car, everything around you is built for you! This little insignificant alignement of atoms has a tremendous impact on everything! around you! realize this! Truly realize that every single thoughts words and actions has an impact on your environment. The natural environnement, the materialistic environment as well as all other human beings . Then let us decide to live a life that brings a positive change, a life where our energy, our thoughts, our actions change the course of lives for the better! A life filled with unconditional Love towards myself and therefore towards every living creature, towards nature, towards everything!

There is such beauty in simply finding ourselves completely surrendered to the present moment! We experience things differently, we see the drops of water pearl on the feathers of a swan, we hear the distant laughter of children playing, we see the marvelous dance of bees, the games of birds, the sun reflecting on a single drop of water; what we see fills us with simple joy as we feel present in the oneness of the Universe. In those moments we dance with the energy of Life, we flirt with immortality and marvel at the playfulness of the game of life! . In the wisdom filled words of Sadhguru ; Without playfulness there is no celebration in life, and life is a good enough reason to celebrate! What other reason do you need to celebrate?! . Live a life in celebration of Life ๐Ÿ™โœจโ˜€๏ธ

As we grow older, as we cover ourselves with the blankets of the ego, the chains of fear and the anchor of separateness, we forget who we truly are. By stripping down all of those layers, you’ll find, once again, at the core of it, the most honest version of yourself, your true self. . We act with hatred because we are fearful. We trash our surroundings because we have forgotten the oneness of everything. We act as lost beings because we feel disconnected, we feel lost, we feel judged, we feel threatened, we feel hated, we feel pain. We have forgotten to feel Love. True Love. Do not confuse love with attachement. True Love bestows Freedom. True Love is Unconditional. True Love is Pure. True Love is Joy.

So thankful for the beauty, opportunities and teachings of Life! ๐Ÿ™ . Life is not all sunshine and roses but shift your perception, listen to your intuition and you’ll see that things happen for you, embrace the storm, and be willing to grow from it. I absolutely adore this text by Haruki Murakami; . “Sometimes fate is like a small sandstorm that keeps changing directions. You change direction but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again, but the storm adjusts. Over and over you play this out, like some ominous dance with death just before dawn. Why? Because this storm isn't something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you. This storm is you. Something inside of you. So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, closing your eyes and plugging up your ears so the sand doesn't get in, and walk through it, step by step. There's no sun there, no moon, no direction, no sense of time. Just fine white sand swirling up into the sky like pulverized bones. That's the kind of sandstorm you need to imagine. . And you really will have to make it through that violent, metaphysical, symbolic storm. No matter how metaphysical or symbolic it might be, make no mistake about it: it will cut through flesh like a thousand razor blades. People will bleed there, and you will bleed too. Hot, red blood. You'll catch that blood in your hands, your own blood and the blood of others. . And once the storm is over you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about.”

[The game of life] . Rejoice at the beauty of the game of life, it is such an amazing, surprising, mesmerizing, perfect one. . Evolve within, evolve the perception of the external. Sound is nothing but a frequency until it reaches our hear-drum and our brain translates it into what we know as a sound. Everything and nothing is neither good nor bad. It only is perceived so according to our interpretation of it. A situation doesn’t change, our perception does. . Smile at life, enjoy the perfection of the game of life!

[Simplicity] . Simplicity is perhaps the nearest form to perfection. Countless are the times when simplicity and virtuosity are whispered in one breath. Simplicity isn’t simple. Simplicity is gone beyond complexity. Simplicity implies the ability to apply a complete tabula rasa - expression de Platon - to the clustered mind. To have such an acquired knowledge that the ability comes to shrink down all concept to its purest form. Perhaps best embodied by the Sutras of Patanjali and other sages. . Simplicity is of such beauty. The kind of simplicity that has gone beyond the lazy mind and body, a simplicity that comes from a form of understanding where only a few words suffice. Simplicity takes courage. . From the wind swept high plateaus of the Andes, to the floating islands of Titicaca, to the monastic life of Myanmar and the ritual rich days of Bali, I’ve learned that in simplicity there is utter beauty. Simplicity isn’t poverty, simplicity can be found everywhere, in the wealthiest of circles, in the poorest of circle. Simplicity comes from within. . Simplicity implies contentment, satisfaction with what is, joy for the situation before us. It implies letting go of the past and not grasping for the future. It implies being at easy and at peace with who we are. It means breaking back down the concept of separateness. . As I was moving last weekend, I couldn’t help but reflect on the amount of unnecessary clothes stacked in my wardrobe and I believe it to be a materialistic embodiment of the clustered mind I suffered with. More more more material never brings ones life towards simplicity.

[Thoughts from home] . I used to believe that we were products of our environment. Now to some extent I still believe that. We can shape our life so that we bring in space for growth. We can avoid certain unhealthy habits, let go of those who weigh us down, forge new ways and meet new people who will expand the realms of the realities of our mind. . But, and this where both are linked, our environment is actually a product of who we are. By going within first, we completely change our experience of the external world. A situation is as it is but what can change is our perception of it. Our environment realigns itself with our intentions, our beliefs, our views. Once we place a loud speaker over the whispers of our intuition, then our whole being and our whole surrounding realigns itself with it. . I recently read a quote from Sadhguru who said “Idiots do things they don’t like. Intelligent ones do what they love. Geniuses learn to do what is needed joyfully.” We can all strive to be filled with joy in all circumstances.

A MYRIAD TALES [AGRA, INDIA] . The same emperor found an unfortunate end when is son overthrew him and locked him up in the Agra Fort. How ironic that emperor Shâh Jahân ended his days in a white marble room within the red stone walled fort, with a balcony looking over the plain of what once was his and the site of the resting ground of his beloved wife. . Such precious gem are always shredded with clouds of mystery; out of tales told ear to ear, legends are born. Perhaps some true, probably some not. However it may be, the presence of the great tomb is felt, you feel its attraction, you feel the that it looks at you, stares you down. As you turn your back on it, its presence grows, you cannot help but peek over your shoulder. It still stands there testimony of a great History, withstanding the passing of time, the ferocious elements of nature and the greed of mankind. . Full story, and others, on website.
