I just completed the last day of ANOTHER program, and decided to hop on a video chat with some of my girls so we could push each other through it!

Being surrounded by other women, who push past their potential excuses and make time for themselves, is one of the MOST motivating things in the world to me. One of these mommas was working out with her little boy watching, and the other is on vacation, but made sure to start her day getting this workout in AND she got her hubby and parents to join her, before they hit Disney up with the kiddos! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Today is Sunday stretch day. I didn’t change the stretch workout from last week so you will notice it is the same. Take it easy today and enjoy the weekend! This coming week starts a new format of workouts that I’m looking forward to. Happy Sunday!!

Welcome to Week 1 Day 7! For this workout we are keeping it light and focusing on stretching out all those muscles we have worked all week. We are not following the same format we’ve been using all week instead I just want you to set your timer for 21 minutes and flow through these dynamic stretches until the time is up. With dynamic stretching we are stretching through movement and warming up the muscles while still elevating the heart rate slightly. Stretching always feels so good so I hope you guys take the time to enjoy this one!

Such a crazy day yesterday that I knew I wasn’t going to get my workout done but no big deal!  I just doubled up today!

That’s why I love the flexibility of having control of when and where I exercise.

No missing classes that I paid for.

No rushing to the gym after work.

No need for a babysitter.

I can pause my workout if I’m need and jump right back in.

I’ve been doing 80 Day Obsession this past week and I’m loooving the utilization of the loops and sliders! The resistance is activating really deep muscles 🤪 —

Have a resistance band at home?  Try wrapping it around your foot and curling your hamstring. Wow! This move is TOUGH! I had surgery to reattach my hamstring last year and this move is a great strengthening exercise without adding any weights, just resistance!

Proud mama moment.
My son has worked out with me the last two nights.  Last night we talked about all the different workouts available to him.  He has decided to work with @shaunt 😁. .
Never give up on your kids. You ARE the example. This is a great achievement for him and getting out of his scheduled comfort zone.  Because of his autism, Evan is very schedule orientated. When we talked last night, we talked about how to schedule in his workout.

Now today is the new day and he did exactly as we planned. He got in a walk to warm up and is now in the backroom doing his workout all on his own. 😍 I am so proud of him!

Now we’re back to a calorie cut and she finally responding to dieting. Almost 8 lbs down in just a few weeks 💪🏼

I have and to be honest I have allowed those voices to run through my head and ruin many an amazing thing. 
I have quit. Does that make me proud ? No! Does it make me human? Absolutely! 
It’s ok to evolve and change as many times as you need to. Will it lose you some friends? Perhaps, but true friendships want what is best for you, not what is best for THEM! 
True friendships care more, support more, encourage more, and then don’t think twice about it! 
I’m so thankful that even though I have quit on things that weren’t serving me or making me better at times that I have one of the most amazing communities surround me with words of encouragement and HOPE! 
If you are feeling like a failure this morning, you aren’t alone but i can tell you this... when you finish something you thought for YEARS was impossible the most important part is that you have made YOURSELF proud!
