Meal prep time..... it’s all about preparation and knowing exactly what you will eat and when. If my meals are ready to go, theres minimal chance of straying when it comes to food. Minimal chances of over eating, or eating the wrong type of food or not eating at all,  which usually leads to binge eating later. Lunchtime consists of flathead fillets, veg and avocado, dinner(top pic) lean mince, onion, red capsicum and yellow capsicum, zucchini, eggplant, and last.. mushroom. I use a little tomato paste, paprika and salt and pepper... dessert is avocado mousse, made with 1/2 avocado, protein powder, cocoa powder... 😋😋😋

🍕 I puristi avranno un infarto, ma io sono in quei giorni del mese e mi è presa una voglia irrefrenabile, dovevo per forza trovare un sostituto del mio amore 😂

La base è fatta con 110 gr albumi 🥚 40 gr farina di grano tenero integrale, sale, pepe e spezie a piacere per insaporire, più un pizzico di gomma di xantana per addensare. Ho prima montato gli albumi con delle fruste elettriche e poi aggiunto tutto il resto, dopodiché ho spalmato il composto (viene molto senso e colloso) su una padella oleata, aiutandomi con una spatola di silicone. Cotto per circa 10 min a fuoco medio col coperchio. A cottura ultimata ho aggiunto zucchine precedentemente grigliate, tonno sott’olio sgocciolato @coopitalia 🐠 cipolla, quark magro e salsa barbecue Zero @prozisitalia.

Presenting to you my 2 simple tray / platters in which one is of fresh Fruits and another is of Sweer Puris and Sannas.

Sao Joao Feast of St John the Baptistis is a Catholic festival celebrated and praised in Goa on June 24 consistently every year. This festival brings a great deal of fun and satisfaction. Sao Joao's festival has proceeded for around 175 years now.

In the First Tray / Platter I have Fresh #Fruits that are Mango | Pineapple | Watermelon | Jack Fruit | Bananas. 
In the Second Tray / Platter I have Sweet Puris and Sannas.
.
Puri is an unleavened deep-friedbread, originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is eaten for breakfast or as a snack or light meal.
But for a twist, I have made sweet Puris by adding sugar syrup while making the dough.

Sannas (Konkani: सान्नां) are spongy steamed savory rice cakes originating from the Indian subcontinent. They are popular in #Goa.Sannas were often called Hitt or Hitler in old Konkani by Hindus, but now are more commonly made cause Catholics prepare them during #church feasts, festivals or any special occasions. Sometimes a #sweet version is made with jaggery, known as gouache sanna. But I have made the plain Sannas (without jaggery).

This was one of the best things that we ate in Bangkok- mango kakigori from @afteryoudessertcafe! Imagine fluffy soft mango shaved ice blanketing some perfectly ripe mangoes, chewy sticky rice and crunchy mung beans sprinkled on top.  So glad that we caught the mango season in Bangkok!

Pic 2: Who says you cannot spoil yourself on a weeknight with a surf 🐟 and turf 🐄 consisting of a beautiful lobster tail and a succulent filet mignon for dinner? Don't forget to get your veggies on with a side of greens and some flatbread too!

Pic 3: I wanted a bit of a mid-week "pick-me-up", so I made myself a delicious breakfast sandwich with an egg, some turkey bacon, cheese and tomatoes on a wholegrain flatbread round with a side of mango orange carrot smoothie.

Can you believe this amazing meal took 4 ingredients, 4 steps (season the meat, steam the carrots and beans, pansear the meat and sauté the mushrooms and toss the carrots and beans in some @meltorganic butter) and 20 minutes to make? Instead of lean pork loin, you can substitute with other proteins such as chicken/turkey breast or even salmon. I hope you will try this recipe and let me know how it turns out!
