Last night I had the opportunity to speak on my very first panel beside other blogger/influencers in the community – and it was amazing! ✨ When @heatherlaneevents reached out to me to see if I would like to speak – my first instinct was to say no, because this was way outside my comfort zone. Speaking in public and being in the spotlight is not my favorite thing, and I wondered if I really had anything of value to offer as far as being an “influencer” goes. But then I told myself to get over my silly fears and insecurities and to take the leap, and I’m so glad I did.
I feel like I’m a very “shy extrovert”, if there is such a thing. I LOVE being social and doing group things 💛 but I do not love being the center of attention, and a lot of the times I’ll just laugh in the background rather than leading group conversations. Anyone else out there feel me on this one?! However, I do not want any of my doubts and insecurities to ever hold me back from doing something, especially something positive like this – so here’s my secret. Whenever I find myself feeling this way, i tell myself “fake it till you make it” and it works (almost) every time. If I can at least make myself *pretend* and appear to be confident and go for things – it usually ends up that I AM confident. Try it next time you are feeling nervous or scared!

When I tell people a portion of carbohydrate is a closed fist size, a lot of people feel this is too small!  Now remember a fist size of carbohydrate is tiny on its own, yes. But remember to add a ton of vegetables and protein and the portion size will double if not triple. This not only increases nutritional content but also boosts satiety and satisfaction levels.

The willingness to workout, stay motivated, eat well, and be consistent is impressive enough! If it was easy it wouldn't be called work. Today is leg day #2 for the week. I've been incorporating 2 leg-focused days to try and build my quads and glutes. It is a PROCESS. Will share some of the excerises later!

That no matter how pure of a soul you are, your pimples still define you,
You’re allowed to fantasise black as your favourite colour, but ; 
Not as your skin tone.
Here’s a friendly reminder to not let any of the negativity bother you in any terms.
Don’t let your superficialities define you; ever.
So when we talk about health;
We’re doing that on a broader aspect;
You could be physically fit,
But what’s the point when you can’t feel exhilarated about the little things everyday? 
None of us are absolutely physically or mentally sane and we’ll probably never even reach the peak,
But that shouldn’t hold you back from striving to do better.

Go running,
Tell people that you love them,

Smile. To yourself. To others. To the sky. Within yourself.

Ich merke jedes Jahr aufs Neue, wie das Fitnessstudio im Sommer so ziemlich leer wird, zumindest ist es in unserem Studio so. Im Winter oder im Herbst ist das Studio überfüllt. Und dann wundern sich die meisten, warum sie keine Fortschritte machen!!! Wie soll man den Fortschritte machen, wenn man das Training dem Wetter anpassen tut?? Ich glaube das jeder von uns wenigstens 1,5 std auch beim guten Wetter Zeit finden kann um ins Gym zu gehen, vorausgesetzt man möchte es!! Um etwas zu erreichen, muss man hart dran arbeiten und zwar bei jedem Wetter, dann kommen die Erfolge von selbst... Wünsche euch allen noch einen tollen Feiertag morgen, falls in eurem Bundesland Feiertag ist 😀😁!!! Bleibt sportlich‼️‼️
