It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since the bombing at Manchester Arena. Whenever I think about this night, I feel mixed emotions. I loved seeing @arianagrande perform live for the first time, she put on such an amazing show and you could tell how happy she was. Unfortunately, the night was ruined when a bomb went off, injuring hundreds and killing twenty two innocent souls. While I was lucky enough not to be hurt physically, mentally it’s affected me a lot. I’m more anxious and I do struggle to leave the house sometimes.
I am still so grateful for Ariana and what she did for Manchester, including the One Love benefits concert which raised over £10m for the Red Cross. Ariana also recently said that she’s planning a special show for Manchester and I really hope I’m able to go as it would mean the world to me to see her again. Words can’t describe how incredibly proud I am of her, especially with her albums, ‘Sweetener’ and ‘thank u, next’ and her current tour.
I’m thinking of all those who are also affected by what happened on this day two years ago and sending so much love to the families and friends of the tragic lives that were taken far too soon. ❤️
