😔 I’ve been slacking on my gym time lately, but I’ve got 42 days until we go back to school, and I’m committed to goin every single day. 💪🏻 🦵 One problem is that I hurt my knee a few weeks bag and had on-going pain. In addition, I was having reoccurring foot pain, after working out.🦶🏻 🚗 Last week, I finally worked up the courage to go to Fleet Feet in Savannah and get fitted for tennis shoes. It was an AMAZING experience!!! 😬 I’m a work in progress, and I was very intimidated by going to these thin, fit people and telling them I wanted shoes for working out. I should not have been worried, as all! Everyone was friendly, warm, and welcoming! 😊 👟 A nice young man named Darren waited on me. He explained everything he was doing and why. He was knowledgeable, not only about walking/running, but about nutrition, as well. I told him about my commitment to eating healthier, eating more real food, and avoiding junk food. 🥗 He was supportive and encouraging. He shared a lot of valuable information with me, and he assured me it was never to late to commit to a healthier lifestyle. ❤️ 🏃‍♀️ If you are striving to get healthier and become more active, I highly recommend Fleet Feet. El floor press con barra, es un ejercicio compuesto ( multiarticular ) tremendamente efectivo para conseguir, mejorar y ganar fuerza💪🏻🏋️‍♀️. Es un movimiento muy utilizado por powerlifters para mejorar sus registros en press de banca.

El floor press con barra, es un ejercicio que trata de acortar el rango en el press de banca para mejorar los registros en el levantamiento.

Esto se hace, para fortalecer los ligamentos y adaptar al cuerpo a empezar a manejar ese peso y dar más carga de trabajo a los tríceps. 
Los tríceps son el músculo que más trabaja a la hora de realizar press de banca y es crítico conseguir ganar fuerza en ellos.

Este ejercicio se trata de una variante de press banca, pero desde el suelo. De esta forma, no se utiliza ni banco ni soportes para sacar la barra ni dejarla.

Según su ejecución, podremos realizarlo asemejándose más a un press de banca o a un press de banca declinado. En ambos casos se trata de un ejercicio que nos permitirá trabajar con altas cargas.
Tiene gran transferencia a los deportes de lucha, especialmente en aquellos que la lucha desde el suelo constituya una parte de ese deporte. Esto es debido a que la ejecución de este ejercicio se asemeja mucho a la situación de lucha en el suelo, muy común en muchos deportes de lucha.
Hay dos formas de realizarlo:
Con la pelvis levantada y la segunda totalmente tumbado en el piso, en ambos casos, la planta de los pies deben estar pegadas al suelo. .
