🍋TRAVEL UPDATE: NUTRITION EDITION🍋 •This past weekend I went to visit my mom’s side of the family in Nysa, Poland. My aunt, unfortunately, ended up in the hospital during my visit due to thyroid problems/complications. She had a temperature of 102F, chills, loss of appetite, and extreme fatigue. So, why does this intrigue me?
Polish food/culture does not include many heart healthy meals/ingredients. However, the culture here does not include fast food like America. I asked my aunt how she eats and how many times a day she eats. I also asked her how she ate growing up. Her answers did not shock me-sugar and salt were the key ingredients in the familias diets (fun fact: my grandma worked at a very famous cookie factory back in the day). Sugar was around everywhere and even into her adult life, chocolate was her go to comfort food.
My conclusions from this experience is that an active lifestyle and maintaining a balanced diet (as cliche as this sounds) will help to prevent chronic disease and promote a life that does not restrict nor limit what you can or can’t eat.
It truly saddened me to see my aunt in such pain, but knowing that these problems can be prevented excites me to continue my nutrition studies and encouragjng people to eat them veggiez 🍅🥒🥬 #stayactive#healthylife#antidietculture#liveyourbestlife#health#fitness#balanceiskey

Extrêmement intéressant à inclure dans votre routine biceps! Cet exercice va travailler le biceps dans son entièreté bien évidemment (antérieur+biceps brachial) mais c’est tout particulièrement le biceps brachial qui sera ciblé. Veillez comme toujours à avoir un contrôle parfait de votre charge, et n’allait pas jusqu’à tendre entièrement votre bras pour éviter tout risque de déchirement.

In urma unui studiu amplu efectuat de cercetatori englezi, a reiesit ca oamenii nu stiu in general ce cantitate de alimente consuma intr-o zi.
Daca exista multe gustarele si la mese punem mancarea "la ochi" , garantat in zilele mai stresante sau invers, mai plictisitoare, o sa consumam mai mult.
In principiu, metoda cantaririi alimentelor ar fi cel mai usor mod sa incepi in a tine o dieta, in care nu vrei sa calculezi foarte mult macronutrienti si diferite rapoarte. Desigur, avem nevoie de cateva cunostinte de baza, cum ar fi 100g de castraveti contin 80%apa, comparativ cu migdalele care contin 4% apa si restul macronutrienti.
Era si o gluma, ce cantareste mai mult 1kg de apa sau 1kg de ulei?
Dar calorii, care are mai mult?😉

SOCIAL STUDY! PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS IN THEIR PLATE
After a large study conducted by English researchers, it turned out that people generally do not know what amount of food they consume in one day.
If there are many snacks, and at the meals we put the food "as we feel", guaranteed in the most stressful days or vice versa, on the boring ones, we are prone to eat more food.
Basically, weighing food would be the easiest way to start a diet that you do not want to calculate a lot of macronutrients and different procentages. Of course, we need some basic knowledge, such as 100g of cucumbers containing 80% water, compared to almonds containing 4% water and the rest are the macronutrients.
There was a joke: What weighed more betweeen 1kg of water or 1kg of oil?
But the calories, which has more? 😉
