Running blind... Since then I've gained in so much knowledge, I'm by no means a Professional, but I have benefitted from professional advice, from running clubs, PTs and co runners...the more races I take part in the more I improve, the more I run the more I learn about my body and it's capabilities... Back then I ran because I wanted to keep fit, now I run because I love it 🙌 the adrenaline, the buzz... The things that have helped me the most are learning to listen to my body, if it's tired I rest or practice a recovery run, if it's strong I go for long distance, if it's got a sudden burst of energy I practice my speed runs... 2. They help save the planet 🌎 (I get hives when I think about all those disposable plastic salad containers in landfills)⠀

🥬Chopped lettuce⠀
🥬Chick peas⠀
🥬Halved cherry tomatoes⠀

Post-weigh In brunch. I’m not a huge believer in going completely ‘off plan’ after I’ve been weighed as it doesn’t set me up for a positive week properly. I’ll probably indulge in a few cheeky biscuits at work tonight but that’s about the extent of it 👌🏽 balance is better than bingeing. 2️⃣ Oxybenzone (benzophenone-3), octyl-dimethyl-PABA and octinoxate – all hormone disrupting and damaging to the reef/oceans – Hawaii is actually BANNING THIS – YAY!
3️⃣ Padimate O (2-ethylhexyl-4-dimethylaminobenzoate ) - when exposed to sunlight, generates free radicals that cause strand breaks on DNA.
3️⃣ Fragrance chemicals – There are usually around a dozen in a bottle, all of which heavily knock us about with hormone alteration.

✔️ Maximizer
✔️ Futuristic
✔️ Strategic
✔️ Competition

I LOVE my strengths, even competition which I think some people would be embarrassed to have in their top 5. But it’s what gives me grit to keep going. I love challenges that push me to grow and I am often my biggest competitor.

My latest challenge that I am working on is Pure Barre Bingo. It’s funny, but when they announce these kinds of things, I get so excited. Now I just need to use my other strengths to come up with a plan to get a few bingos and maybe even blackout. And on those days where it’s extra hard to show up, I’ll be using the Motivate blend!

Too nice to be stuck indoors at the gym...... Then exercise outside!

I’ve opted for leg day in the garden today, training with my partner while our wee boy plays & our baby sleeps. 
We’ve had a busy morning with the kids. It would’ve been so easy to make an excuse to skip working out but then we would have regretted it by this evening.
We did a leg workout from the loft programme on the app which we downloaded in the house & used offline outside. Definitely something I’ll be taking advantage off any time we are away!! What was your workout today?
