We tried a different style walker today - this one is a little taller (ideally it should be a little shorter for him), but it is SO much lighter so he basically took off running with it!

Last night did not go as planned at all... I forgot to eat before I went to my meeting, and by the time I got home it was almost 10pm. Needless to say dinner didn’t happen last night 😔 but I learned my lesson and put some snacks in my bag for next time that happens! .

Am finding that I am being so much more efficient with what I eat now which means much less food waste and loads of money saved! Had this pasta in the fridge and thought I ought to use it up so cooked it up last night and hey presto..... easy lunch for today 😊

I could chalk up me discovering this opportunity as “luck,” but I want to tell you a little story. Three years ago (this month), I was sitting in my car on my lunch break at the bank. I was scrolling Facebook when a “30 minute Bootcamp” post that my friend had liked popped up on my feed.

It caught my eye and to make a long story short, I asked my family if this virtual fitness Bootcamp with 30 Minute home workouts, 30 day supply of superfoods, meal plan, grocery list, cooking show, online community could be my Mother’s Day gift to myself. They agreed and because I made an INVESTMENT in myself (monetarily speaking), I dove in 100% losing 20 lbs and 10 inches. .

The picture on the left was April 2016 (2 babies and 29) —the pic of the right was May 2019 (3 babies and 32). Oh, and that friend I mentioned earlier... the one who happened to make that post show up on my newsfeed THREE years ago. She JUST joined MY Bootcamp THIS month.

Här visar jag 3 varianter som man kan starta med som är snälla & minskar svårighetsgraden för att se hur väl man kan få kontakt & jobba med dessa muskler.
. 🔸️Utgå alltid från att starta rörelsen med ett bäckenbotten knip, tänk blixtlåsvarianten att stänga bakifrån & fram, eller att du ska knipa av en kisstråle.
(VIKTIGT med bäckenbottenhälsa för både ♀️♂️ & alla däremellan☝️).

Aktiverar man bäckenbotten så aktiveras automatiskt transversusabdominis (djupa bålmuskulaturen). Men det motsatta förhållningsättet verkar i inte föreligga❗
.
🔸️Släpp ut magen helt avslappnad & andas några andetag långt ned genom magen innan du tar en ny aktivering. Lika viktigt att kunna slappna av som att aktivera. Kroppskännedom är A och O❗.
.
🔸️När knipet är aktiverat kan en lätt initiering av att trycka svanken mot underlaget/eller tänka att man skall göra det hjälpa att hitta en god aktivering.
.
🔸️En aktivering behöver inte vara tydligt synlig, så det kan vara bra att känna själv strax nedanför höftbenen för att känna en ganska liten tonusökning. Skall inte vara herrejösses-ta-i-så-ja-skiter-på-mig spänning eller att de raka bukmusklerna spänns mest. Utan en tonusökning under dina fingrar som visar att bålkorsetten kopplas på🙏.

🔸️Viktigt att tänka på är att inte krysta, hålla andan eller spänna sig så att trycket fördelas nedåt, du ska mer känna att kniper skall ge ett lyft, & att magen skall bredas ut mot sidorna 😊.
