Rainy morning here -- the barrels are filling! I'm re-reading Hocus Pocus though this time it's been slower-going. I finished Cat's Cradle the other day and for the first time in my life I actually enjoyed it. So maybe 30 year old me is different from 21 year old me. I should hope so. Oh wait I'm not 30, I'm older than that. Well I wrote 30, and it's staying there. If you've read any Kurt Vonnegut, what was your favourite? Neither of the two mentioned here are my favourite. I don't even know if I should say what my favourites are since apparently my 30 year old mind has different opinions. .
Yes I’m still not done! 😩 But I’m just going to push through this novel tonight. It makes me feel crappy every time I look at it and I remember I don’t know how it ends. Please no one hate me. 😂 .
UPDATE: I just finished it and I feel so accomplished and glad it over! It’s only getting 1 Star from me. Vonnegut improves upon the ideas in this novel 1,000% in Slaughterhouse-5 so I would just recommend reading that one instead! Now I can finally move on with my life 😂
Me & the one & only, never to be replicated, enigmatic & brilliant, Damian Sienkiewicz. Circa 1986: San Luis Obispo (Damian walking on water) & 1992: Portlandia🌹. Taken from us all last week & far too soon. The man who introduced me to R.E.M. & David Letterman & Hunter S. Thompson in the early 80’s & persuaded me to leave Oregon for California after that. Rest In Peace my brother. You are terribly missed. 💔 #DamianSienkiewicz#ThePolishPrince
