Tested the waters for back squat today. Turns out, the water was very nice. 
1) 225 and 275 for 5. 
2) 315 for 3 for 2 sets. 
3) 335 and 350 for 1.

We started being classmates in stocks, soups and sauces class in 2008. Since then our tandem was irreplaceable. Then we became the apprentice to DelMonte test kitchen in 2009. We graduated in 2010. She worked at Sheraton in the US for sometime and i was in Sofitel. Surprisingly, last 2016 we are back again working in the same company. And now that we will be in a distance, I know cooking will always bring us back together. ๐Ÿฅ˜ #Masitsit

1๏ธโƒฃ. Calf Raises: when holding the dumbbells you want to hold them by your side with your arms relaxed & completely straight. For better results you can pause longer while on your tippy toes. .

2๏ธโƒฃ. Standing lunges: make sure that your torso is upright in a good posture at all times, you are keeping your abs tight for better balance & controlling your breathing as you go down.. DO NOT let your knee touch the ground โ€ผ๏ธ

3๏ธโƒฃ. Barbell Hip Thrusts: make sure that the bench behind you isn’t too far away and that it is aligned to where you can rest your back comfortably to lean on. Also, with your feet shoulder width apart. Having some type of cushion on the bar helps so that the bar isn’t on your pelvis. While the bar is on your hips you want to explode up, pause for a one second hold, down and than repeat. The pause is very important for gaining internal strength in your hips and glutes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

4๏ธโƒฃ. Sprinter Sit-ups: so you want the opposite hand and the opposite leg coming up simultaneously. Hands are coming to a hold to where they would go as if you are running & you want your knee at an 90 degree angle. (Giving these a slight pause at the top while holding 6 inches helps so that you feel the burn) Do NOT forget to keep your foot Dorsey flexed at all times as well ! For beginners you can keep your feet on the floor as well. (My abs were on my side that dayโœŠ๐Ÿพ)

5๏ธโƒฃ. 35-lb Ab Workout: I๏ธ actually love this ab workout b/c it really helps with your body control and you can always change the weight to where you are pushing your body. This workout should NOT be easy the first time so don’t feel bad if it’s too hard, it’ll only get easier from there !
