@trinidad_rd my student is working on preparing natural scaffolds for constructing 3D cell culture systems which would enable us to study cancer cell proliferation and study cell cell interactions.

We started this work last year and have been successful in testing different scaffolds. Our goal is to completely replace tradational iinvitro assay with a more realistic culture system and its environment.

Just a thin (under 1 micron = 0.001 mm to be on the same length scale as the wavelength of visible light) transparent polymer film on a reflective substrate! This place is used to fabricate microfluidic devices and nanosensors.. No, it's not a yellow filter its an actually yellow light.
The work is usually carried out in yellow light as yellow lighting is necessary for photolithography, to prevent unwanted exposure of photoresist to light of shorter wavelengths.

Last time, we showed you the SMPL chip with its cell culture adapter – so we figured it was time to reveal the whole system! Here it is set up on a benchtop – probably the smallest patch clamp system in the world – eNUVIO’s SMPL patch clamp system. We are all about making your life as a scientist easier. That’s why at eNUVIO, we developed an organoid culture disk (we need a name!!! Any suggestions, ideas?!) that dramatically reduces the time it takes cell biologists to maintain and harvest their 3D cultures.
