Skipper stooped down on the ground and motioned her hand towards Chelsea.
Skipper: Come here for a minute.
Chelsea walked over to her sister. Skipper lifted her up into her arms and raised her up so they could see eye-to-eye.
Skipper: Remember what Barbie told us about patience?
Chelsea: Yes. She said patience is very important because sometimes we have to learn to wait for good things to happen.
Skipper: Exactly. Right now we need to be patient. The town just built this for us. Which means that everyone hasn’t learned about it yet. Once they do it’ll fill up before you know it and then you’ll have lots of books to choose from. Doesn’t that sound good?
Chelsea: Yes, it does.
Skipper: You’d rather have a lot of choices later then no choices today so we’ll wait patiently and then check back Tuesday after school.
