Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a
listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all
of which have the potential to turn a life around. 💜Leo F. Buscaglia💜
We were told to go to Crave in Morningside... so we did.
It’s pretty easy to find but parking is a bit of a mare, nothing easy just outside but we found a spot a few mins up the road. Recommend putting your pram in the car if your little one won’t walk more than six paces without a meltdown.
It’s worth looking for a park though this place is cool! It’s big, lots of different areas to settle in... outside terrace (not fenced all the way round so you need to keep eyes on the runners in your group), tables and chair and couches at the back.
We had eggs on sourdough with bacon (which was cooked according to our tedious ‘well done’ requests), eggs Bennie and coffees... all of which was great. Their cabinet food looked yummo too... we came home with a huge slice of berry cheesecake. 😬
The service was good and they are really well set up for kids... the disabled bathroom is big, has a nice wooden change table (not one of those plastic pull down ones) and nappy bin and there’s a decent kids menu.
I like that this place is a collective, so it’s by the community for the community.
