Celebratory post because I hit 93 degrees today after being stuck at 85 for over a week! It might not seem like much but it is everything to me. One step closer...and I’m finally able to use the seated stepper again! I also worked on walking with one crutch instead of 2. Struggling for workout ideas/time or even just making it to the gym?

Here is a quick but very effective dumbbell workout you can do at the comfort of your own home. 
Dumbbell complex: 
1 piece of equipmemt, 5 exercises: bicep curl, thrusters, bent over row, split squats, renegade rows. 
10 reps each (for split squat &  renegade row: 10reps each side). Your challenge is not to put the dumbbells down!!! Complete all exercises without rest back to back, once done take 2minutes rest. Repeat 4 times to complete the workout. 
It will not only work on your grip strength, will test your endurance and will get all your muscles working. 
I finished my workout with a 4min kb tabata: 20sec kb swing, 10sec rest, 20sec goblet squat, etc... Ps: there was a point when I thought I was going to ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข (no joke)

There are so many variables when dealing with clients with Parkinson’s Disease. Today Barbro was having a somewhat off day however that didn’t stop her getting the work done. The gym was hot, she was lethargic and so we took it back to some basic movement patterns with a few curve balls. We had to improvise and be creative in how we got the work done but sometimes that really is how the magic happens. Her accuracy was exceptional, her concentration was fantastic and her control was really good so I was very pleased with Barbro. She has been my client for over 2 years now and I am always amazed at her attitude and don’t quit attitude. Thank you for inspiring me Barbro! Have to admit to not being enthused by this after 4 days off,  but it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. All about 70% of current max 4 x 9.

Squat 115kg (high bar, hate high bar)
Deadlift 150kg (back was a bit tweaky. Car journeys seem to do that to me) 
Bench 70kg (must have got leg drive sorted, both quads cramped. This is under 70% but still mindful of elbow, and right shoulder. Felt good today though)

Definitely cardio ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

Try these for a little killer......Little bit of back and core on the Smith machine. Focussing on the eccentric movement in the pull up because.....well lets face it I cant do pullups! And these hanging core exercises look easy when other people do them but I found them soooooo hard. Loving trying new things in my training at the minute, not loving filming them because I pull well funny faces when I workout LOL #sorrynotsorry #notaninstagrammodel .
