🍕🍕🍕🍕 I’d love to say I’m still going strong on the workout/nutrition plan... but it’s been a HARD week y’all. I made it 3 weeks without missing a single day. Then hit a serious emotional funk week 4 and got a couple days behind, but caught up in time to start week 5 on schedule. Then halfway through week 5 I finally saw my worst fear of the program come true.... A super awesome and fast paced step based workout + the girl with unresolved ankle injuries who manages a sprain a year = Step 1, Sara 0.... yep.... after 4.5 weeks I landed on my step wrong and rolled my ankle off if 😫😭😫 I also tweaked my neck in the fall. So I’m listening to my body and taking it easy for a few days. THANKFULLY, it’s just a minor ankle roll 🙌 I can still walk on it and the swelling is almost completely gone. Hoping to get back on track sometime this week so I can finish strong (even if it takes me 7 weeks instead of 6!). But for this weekend, I’m eating homemade pizza and cookies and exercising my Netflix marathon skills 🍕🍪 Reminding myself that it’s okay to stumble, as long as I get back up! Tomorrow it’s back to meal planning + prepping and checking out some low impact exercises for this week 🏋🏻♀️🥒🍎🍳🥕🍇
Do you have a furry friend in your life that supports you no matter what? Dogs are pretty amazing that way! Scout takes an interest, no matter what I’m doing. When I workout, she loves to try to participate and gives me the motivation to keep going. Do me a favor and thank your pets for being the best cheerleaders in life!
