Day 33: 1/3 of the way there! 💪🏽
I’ve decided I want to take he next few weeks to compliantly go through and record book one of Kopprasch! I was realizing that there are a lot of etudes I haven’t yet practiced, and I feel that learning them all will greatly improve my playing! Today I looked at number 1, one I have worked on in the past. I tried to pay attention to dynamics and intonation, and feel I did a fair job with both. ☺️
Let me know your thoughts! 😄💪🏽
Thanks to George the #houso in the derelict #surryhills block towers who nicked my phone off my desk and kindly answered once telling me some bloke gave him my sim after he told me he found it on the pavement 😳💁🏼 I have a new phone currently with no messages and contacts. Let’s hope iTunes has it all. A case of beer and $50 wasn’t enough to get it delivered back. Thanks Georgie boy. What a legend. I hate thieves.
Back to the chair. We just put new leather on the #Wagner JH513 #johanneshansen
Yesterday I completed my final HS concert! I had the opportunity to play the Weber Concertino with the wind ensemble. I first played this piece freshman year for Regions auditions, so it was fitting for me to play it for my final concert.
We also had a small ensemble perform my arrangement of Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral.
Minor flubs here and there, but I'm overall very happy with how I performed.
The full Concertino is on YouTube!
