Happy 2nd wedding anniversary to my amazing husband, we made it 2 years and I haven't killed you yet! 😂 Thank you for always making me laugh even though it does show all my chins 🙈 and thank you for all you do for me and Oraelia, we would be lost without you ❤ @dannybourne#weddinganniversary#twoyears
“It has only been 4 years since our wedding and yet I have blurred memories, as if 40 years had already passed.
And with all the things we've been through together, all the challenges we have come across incredibly victorious, I realize that it wasn't enough belive on it.
In the past tears I focused only on "I have to resist" because we have two daughters, to resist because this is how it is done, to resist because there are no alternatives. In reality there are always alternatives, but we have never considered them, because beyond all expectations, beyond any imagination after 4 years we love each other just like we have never done before.
Getting married after like 9 months you know a person is half mad, especially when your cultures are profoundly different, when the prospects are so hard to see, when there is no money,no work, too much racism around us,it's all uphill. But when you come to the top of this small climb, you will understand that you have win. We didn't make it because we had to, we didn't make it because that's the way things are. We did it because we decided to understand and love each other despite everything
I know my husband will not take me to any restaurant and I will not put any outfit to celebrate. He is far right now,he is working for our family but we will make a video call tonight. Am pretty sure he will congratulate me for having chosen such a beautiful man and I will have to remind him that my culinary skills in this marriage was fundamental.
We are not perfect but together we are powerful!
Happy anniversary to us, today I celebrate 4 years from the day I decided to face life with my wonderful husband, and even if I never tell him often: My Oga I LOVE YOU! - @stranelly 🇳🇬🇮🇪
22 year Wedding Anniversary. I could write some gushy sentimental statement - but the truth is - without God and Faith and Grit we would not be where we are today.
When we were those young kids smashing cake into our each other’s face, we could never have comprehended the wild and crazy ride we were getting on, but through all the ups and downs we somehow still come out of it standing!
Today we are standing long enough to celebrate with the best food we have ever eaten and the best service we have ever had at Cafe Monarch🦋! They even brought us complimentary champagne (which we sent back and was replaced with ginger ale 🥂). This is defiantly a restaurant going on Heather’s Good Eats list with the review of “so delicious we were speechless and brought to tears”. The only problem is that we can’t eat here every week! We are already planning the next major celebration that would warrant another trip to Cafe Monarch.
Strategically placed Blaise behind us so we could get our first photo together in our four years of being married 😅.
Can’t believe it’s only been four years, feels like it’s been fourever! K that was a bad joke but seriously I love this guy so much, thanks for always being down to visit Joshua Tree even though that’s the only place we ever vacation, for being the best dad and husband ever and for even watching Riverdale with me, idk what I did to deserve you!❤️🥰
